When you go into the property you get a small sense of relief as externally it needs a coat of paint and there are weeds that need removing. The car park at the rear is small and has a VERY sharp corner so larger vehicles or vans are better parking elsewhere. The inside is clean and fresh and upon entering the room first impressions were positive. There were parts of the room which needed attention - the shower tray and wall needed cleaning and the medicine cabinet had obviously had bottles in it at some point as the the rings from these were very visible. The shower gel/shampoo was a bar of soap balanced on top of the shower The tea and coffee facilities had lots of sugar stuffed in them but we're loose so the mugs needed cleaning prior to use and some of the hot chocolate etc were out of date. The TV isn't connected to an aerial or cable service so unless you have Netflix or Prime you're not gonna be watching anything.
The bed and pillows were very comfortable, you could see that the vacuum had been used and an effort made to tidy the room but unfortunately the little things let it down.
The breakfast was very much a help yourself to toast and cereal - there was nothing else available. Although nice bread had been used it was placed in a basket covered in cling film but it was still dry as the air from underneath the basket dried it out.
Overall for what we needed it was fine, a bit more attention to detail would make a difference
