Contrary to my fears, we didn't have a single mosquito bite. The Moselle provides coolness at night, so that despite the warm July (we had 28°), the cabins were pleasantly cold and nicely furnished. But the best thing is the brilliant location, almost all places in Metz can be reached within 10 minutes by bike, delicious French breakfast, very nice owner. The upper deck is not only fantastic at breakfast, but especially in the evening after dinner it is wonderful and wonderfully cool. Fridge and coffee machine available. Great location

I was looking forward to offering a gift voucher to my partner for his birthday, so I contacted the gentleman who was not very explicit on the phone, I sent him the check anyway, asking him to cash it quickly 15 days later nothing... I allowed myself to send him a message to ask him where it was at, no response... I repeated my message the next day aahh a response the gentleman was absent during the week and will not fail to keep me informed the following week... 1 and a half weeks later... Still nothing... I followed up very politely with a text message... Still no response from him... 2 days later (so 1 month in all) I called my bank and I blocked this check! What a lack of politeness and especially professionalism! I ended up finding another barge a little further away, much better rated and much more professional!

Nice houseboat and affordable price. Too bad there was mold in the room and therefore a moldy smell. When checking in, the room was nicely heated. When we got back to our room at midnight it was cold. The heating is set and at night the heating is off. Very cold in the winter. Breakfast was in the room due to the corona rules. Breakfast was okay. Parking was ideal. Next to the boat is a football stadium and parking can be used if there is no match.
