Very convenient location. Very clean and room was amazing. It is very easy to check in and out. Ideal for ltavellers with an overnight layover.

The best thing about the hotel is the location. The staff were also very friendly. Found the room to be very dated and musty. Would recommend upgrades to the rooms.

This is a very old, tired dirty hotel. It is more like a motel not a hotel. When I booked I was led to believe it had been refurbished. This is not the case. All the lamps are broken and being held upright by a piece of furniture and the bed. Round the bath was black mould. The corridor carpet is all stained. We had to change rooms on arrival as the first room stank of smoke. I would not stay again and do not recommend it.

The service was fine the room was very convenient when having a layover. as far as food, it was just the restaurants in the airport and not hotel food as far as I know.

It’s was basically a closet with a bathroom. We had to crawl under the table to plug in the coffee maker to find there was only 1 coffee bag. The table lamp wouldn’t just turn on because the switch was wonky. It was also held together (badly) with duct tape. The sheets had a bunch of little black things all over it. Didn’t know what they were but they didn’t have legs…so that was fine I guess. So to summarize, it was pretty much the worst hotel room we’ve ever been in.

Convenience but outdated. Miami can do better. Put some money into what can be a cash cow.

This hotel is terrible and extremely out dated. You are lucky if you get a room with a very small window. The size of the room was as small as a good sized closet. Very dated with carpet coming up. Something I would expect in a 3rd or 4th world country. If you are getting in late and leaving early, it will suffice for a place to sleep, but don't let the high price fool you into thinking it will be a nice facility, because it is not.

The perfect hotel - because of location - if you have a long layover between flights and just need to sleep, or if you have an early flight and want to avoid the hassle of getting to/from a nearby hotel. If you realize that, the hotel is perfect for this purpose. It’s not intended as a base for you to explore Miami or anything like that. Confusion about this difference explains most of the negative reviews here. Yes, the hotel is a bit older and could stand to be modernized. Still, it does the job - well. It’s about location, location, location - at the airport.

The hotel couldn't be any closer or more convenient to the terminals and for our early am check in. We had access to the entire terminal's shops and restaurants. We walked around looking at our gate areas, so we knew where we needed to go. Check in was easy however, they didn't mention the restaurant on the 7th floor so instead, we ended up paying over $100 at a chain restaurant with a burger/sandwich menu. The price point is extremely high for what you get - for $250 plus a night I'd expect a refrigerator or a microwave, some wash cloths, more than one regular coffee packet and some soap, however, once we asked twice, we received these items fairly quickly. The rooms are dated, not doubt, but the king bed was big and comfy. I was rather pleased with the bright lighting and expandable makeup mirror in the bathroom. Nice to see what you really look like rather than looking in a dim mirror for once which is what you get now at higher end facilities. The window was filthy so there was no looking out the window-to be fair I doubt its easy to clean when jets are constantly flying over your head. The carpet needs to be replaced, there really was very little left of it in the room. Hallway carpet dated but clean. The TV/cable didn't work due to provider changes occurring within the county and the airport is a county building (which is was what we were told when we asked how to use the TV.) We were able to use wireless to stream TV on the iPad - it would have nice if they mentioned that as well so we weren't fighting about how to work the remote. There are really no amenities, and I would say this is comparable to an older but clean motel. However, it took 28 minutes total in the morning to check in, check our bags, get through security and be seated at the gate. Long story short, we would stay there again for an early am flight if we could get a cheaper price.

Avoid this place. The only good thing of this hotel is the location right at the MIA terminal — beyond that, it’s really terrible. Check-in took 45 minutes, about 20 minutes was because of the size of the line at check-in and only two employees available. Given lots of flights delays and cancelations this day, I could understand that. The other 25 minutes were because “we found your reservation but need to put you in the system”. The woman at the front desk kept calling someone to add me to the system, and they kept going back and forth between this room and that room. Meanwhile, the other person at the front desk checked in, and assigned rooms, to 4 people that came in without reservations. I kept asking the front desk person and she said “we need to get you a room, it’s not your fault, you didn’t do anything wrong”, when I kept asking to just put me in any room since the other front desk person kept checking people, she said “then you’d need to pay again, the other woman is assigning new room, if you want your room now you need to pay”, which is wrong. When I told her she had no reason to be snarky at me, she just stopped talking to me and kept “negotiating” with this person on the phone about this lady’s room and that lady’s room, until they finally gave me a room. It looks like they set aside these prepaid rooms for trip.com and they have to put you into one of those — I thought a room is a room, but at some point in the conversation she told the person on the phone “I’m just going to give him this room the other lady didn’t use, and you guys in revenue can figure it out tomorrow”. After all the above, we got to our room, which was old and tired. The A/C controller is one of those really old ones with the slider on the side, which I haven’t seen anywhere since the mid-90’s. Two outlets behind the bed had a broken faceplate, and the bathroom fixtures very much show wear and tear beyond when other hotels would replace. They’re clearly catering to the immediate hotel needs, since the rooms and dated and shabby, and the front desk staff is rude and slow — but they’re not counting on repeat business, is my guess. If you can, avoid this hotel — the quick shuttle ride to any of the surround chain hotels is much better. And unless the savings are significant, don’t use trip.com since it makes the check in process/room assignment much more complicated (this is something maybe trip.com can address with the hotel, if anyone from trip.com reads these reviews?).

There should be more clean sign from baggage claim to it. Once i found it. I was very impressed even if there were not even a bottle of water in the room but i found the vendiing machine which rescue me to get water for my medication. The check in was very quick and easy. Had a very nice room clean and smelling good.
