Comfort Inn Midland South I-20

Building was run down and dingy/dirty feeling. Breakfast essentials were minimal. Hazelnut was only type of coffee creamer with no milk substitute. Bagels were old and stale. Shower had no pressure on hot so had to have mostly cold to have enough pressure to wash your hair. Overall just unsatisfied.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! They added a $45 charge to my bill for a dirty towel! We checked in at 9:30 on a Saturday night and were leaving by 6:30 Sunday morning. Had enough time to wash our faces, brush our teeth, sleep a couple hours and get back to the tournament we were in. When we got there the people working were outside smoking not even attending the front desk. Shortly after we got checked in the elevator broke down and the air in our room never worked. Since we were only there for a short time, I kindly informed them that the air wasn't working in room 319, as we were leaving. What did I get for that ... a "damage fee" for a "stained big and small towel" .... Pretty sure when you wash towels, makeup comes out of them! I mean every other hotel I have ever stayed in hasn't had this issue! That is the only thing that the 1 washcloth, was used for. So you will be charged for dirty towels, it seems. And don't try to get ahold of management ... every time I called I was met with "he's not here yet and he's off on Sunday." No manager at all for a whole weekend?? I was told to call again on Monday ... I'm gonna bet he's still not there when I call. So disappointing because we have stayed here every year we come for this tournament but NEVER AGAIN!! I would advise that no one else stay here either, unless you want to be ripped off!

The water pressure in the shower suck ass, and couldn't get fix on weekend due to no maintenance till Monday, the door to the room didn't even need a card key to open the door, so it wouldn't lock only thru the inside, so all my personal belongings was safe,

We run a hot shot business out of Oklahoma and were passing through Midland for work. We ended up with an unplanned additional haul and had paperwork we needed to print- but didn’t have a printer with us. The printer at the hotel was out of ink. Robert was immediately on the ball and offered to print it from his office. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was perfect. Would highly recommend based on our experience. Robert you’re the BEST and we appreciate you and your hotel so much!!

This hotel is nasty, we had two rooms and both had a variety of dirty and broken items. Dirty walls, dirty floors, dirty bed skirts, the chair in the room was stained, only one of the lamps in each room worked. Broken fixtures in the bathroom. Breakfast is a joke, they were out of everything and not from people eating it, they just don’t have it out. The cherry on top though, an item was accidentally left in the room, we called right away, yet it’s no where to be found. Lost. Items happen with travel and they definitely need better protocol for dealing with that. All in all it’s just another trashy interstate hotel. We didn’t choose to stay here in the first place and I wouldn’t recommend anyone stay here.
