This was a hotel I booked because I wanted to see the Milky Way. I could actually see the Milky Way in front of the yard. The staff were also very friendly. There was a problem, but thanks to the staff, we were able to resolve it safely.
The time I spent here was a precious time that I will remember for a long time.

Very nice place to stay the night. Staff were very hospitable and friendly. Pub atmosphere was warm and cheerful. Really welcoming fireplace to stay for a couple of local drinks.

We arrived on our bicycles and stayed one night in a cabin and another night camping. The hot rain showers are amazing and the amenities are always impeccably clean. The cabin was tastefully decorated and staff was always keen to assist. The only gripe we had was the pretty loud condenser (?) noise that went all night while we were in the cabin. Think it might have been the commercial fridge near our room. The next night we camped further away from it and had ear plugs on then it wasn’t a problem. We will not hesitate to stay again especially camping - at $10 a night with access to showers and toilets I don’t think you can find better value anywhere else.

The service was fantastic. Accommodation is excellent The meals are Excellent and reasonably priced. We loved our stay of 2 nights Such beautiful views. I didn't want to go home. Loved the place. Well done. Do yourself a favour. Do it. You won't regret it.

We stopped for lunch and were delighted with the meal, the service and the facilities. The food menu was diverse and the quality outstanding, as was the friendly and very efficient table service. .It was also a great opportunity to try local wines and beer. It was an unplanned stop for us and an unexpectedly good meal with a splendid view of the lake.

Great view, great food, and eventually great service Bit of a false start, but extensive menu, reasonably priced and well presented. We had the seafood crowded, fish and chips, cheeseburger and prawn & chorizo. Thank you for a memorable lunch We'll be back especially the wallaby rissoles and the schnitzel. Cheers

Stayed here two nights for fly fishing trout in the area with a local guide. Weather was miserable, but the experience was fun. The beautiful, small motel room was well-quipped with items for a continental breakfast (toast, cereal, milk, coffee, etc.) and the restaurant was great. Very friendly and accommodating staff. There is a small convenience store on the property with everything you need for RV or camping. We highly recommend this spot!

We only stayed one night but it was well worth it. Our room out the back of the hotel was really lovely. Looked fairly new. Great shower head. We had a pre dinner drink in the bar before moving to the restaurant for dinner. The Chowder - Amazingly delicious...!! The pizza - not so great. Too much cheese and we opted to pay extra for pineapple and more prawns but very few of either on it. Everyone was very friendly.

We stopped here for 1 night on the 20th Dec 2023, $10 unpowered site, they do have approx 5 powered sites all behind the Hotel. Pay at the hotel. Able to use hotels showers & toilets The unpowered section had large pieces of blue metal which was awkward to walk on. Otherwise ok for a short stopover.
