Hampton Inn Milan

Kind of disappointing for a Hampton Inn. Needs a bit of updating. Clean , if you don’t look in the corners. Bed comfortable and clean. BUT - the coffee service, ice bucket, and cups were kept on the bathroom counter. This is unsanitary and frankly yucky . Needs to be changed. No refrigerator in the room

Needed to visit some family nearby, and this is the only "chain" hotel in Milan. Could have stayed in Jackson, some 30 minutes away. It's unfortunate that so many of these chain hotels don't get any proper inspections from the franchisor. That's the only thing that can explain the inexplicable. The usual Hampton Inn by Hilton amenities all worked - selected a room during online check-in, the electronic key worked on the door, terrific. Room was mostly typical mid-America Hampton Inn. Bathroom was clean and amenities normal. I almost always now pull the bedding to look for bedbugs. This room was clear, but I've had a couple issues recently that have made me more aware. Only problem was so obvious I wonder how no one reports it. I've attached a photo showing the condition of the carpeting. Carpet was mostly pretty filthy; walking around without socks got my feet pretty dirty.

I have stayed at this hotel several times when in the area. It is always very clean and comfortable. The staff is always helpful and welcoming. The pool area is nice and clean. For breakfast they offer a nice variety and the coffee is excellent. There is ample parking and easy access.

The microwave has not been cleaned in months. The entrance smelled bad. Too much noise and cigarettes butts all over the place. Coffee stations were not clean eating tables dirty the place has an ordor

This was my second stay at this location . The room were clean , bed comfy. It was very quiet . Convenient for my needs and In a safe location . Staff was friendly . I’m not a breakfast person but , it smelled really good and the fireplace was getting started up . That was a nice touch

We try to stay at Hamptons whenever we can. This was a definite disappointment. The first impression ( Amber) at check in was the beginning. She was not at desk, we had to call out to her to come..she was never up front..we witnessed many people waiting and calling out as we had to wait in a line to heat our planned leftovers dinner in a MW at a table in front of the elevator. We learned that not all Hamptons have MW and refrigerators in rooms and this had neither. Back to check-in, I went for a cup of coffee. Had to call her out to desk again only to be told she didn’t make any…I could go back and make it in my room. So fair warning… Apparently Hampton Inns no longer have standards that must be met. Very minor, but we are usually offered a couple bottles of water as we are silver members. Not here…and even the breakfast was mediocre. And by the way, Amber never smiled and actually acted annoyed when she had to come out to desk.

Very nice property. Extremely well kept. It does not look it's age. Employees were all very cordial and helpful. Price is a little high but at least you feel like you're getting your money's worth. Parking is plentiful and grounds we'll kept. Definitely worth a return visit.

We stayed here for 3 nights. Rates are reasonable, but have to ask for housekeeping each day. Breakfast is adequate but your usual fare, eggs, sausage, cereals, breads. Bed was ok, but not super comfy. It satisfies our needs and we travel here frequently.

I recently finished up a 5 month business stay at Hampton Inn-Milan. This afforded me the opportunity to become acquainted and genuinely appreciate a most capable and caring staff. Here’s to Amber, Rock, Bonnie, Issac, Katie, Tiara, Shay, Shelby, David, and Allan. You all were like my “family” away from home and I have highest regards for a great hospitality team!
