Hotels near Chiostro delle Rane, Milan

3 day/2night city break to Milan. This hotel is perfect !! Spotlessly clean, lovely ambience, lighting, chic and the whole stay was faultless. Easy location to access Metro at Porta Venezia, tram stops and buses. Only a 15 minute walk from the central train station. Lovely restaurants close by. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Stayed in room 206 small twin ! Extremely comfortable beds with heavenly products in the bathroom including shower gel, hand wash, shampoo. Non smoking room. It was compact but perfectly adequate for our needs. Situated on inner courtyard so very quiet and cosy. Breakfast was superb.. plenty of selection including fresh fruit salad, granola, yogurt selection, continental meats, cheeses, very tasty scrambled egg, boiled eggs, bacon and sausage. Great selection of croissants, bread rolls, cake. All plentiful and a bright and pleasant breakfast room on ground floor and the staff were efficient and courteous. Would most definitely stay here again in our next trip to Milan

This is a beautiful hotel and we had a great time. The hotel was nice a clean, had a nice garden, the restaurant was nice and the bar was open until late. We stayed on the 2nd floor and our room was nice and spacious, aircon was great, the mini bar was well stocked and the maid came everyday. Our view out the window was nice too, we could see the cobbled streets and the tram passing by, it kind of looked like a postcard. The restaurant was nice, staff was friendly and if you like traditional Italian food then you would enjoy it. The breakfast was also nice we went down every morning, it was the same thing everyday but that was ok because it was good food. Only thing is tho, there were no omelettes as standard, I think they could have made you one but you had to pay extra (€8) Let’s talk about the bar. The bar was amazing, not only was it open til late but the bar staff were very knowledgeable on anything drink related. There wasn’t a drink that the lovely Henry or Paulo couldn’t make you. Whilst I am on the Henry and Paulo subject, I’d like to take this opportunity to just say how amazing they are. They introduced themselves and asked our names and it was lovely service ever since. They made us feel welcome, kept the amazing drinks flowing, learnt early on what kind of drinks we liked and kept the drinks coming. The service from them two was absolutely outstanding and we would visit again just to see them. They are real assets to the hotel. Thank you. The hotel itself is not far away from the duomo. We just took the subway, it was 3 stops. Once you get to the duomo you can also do the bus tours, we did the 4 tours over 48 hours which was nice. We also did the canal cruise which wasn’t far from the hotel too. Immediately outside the hotel you can also hire bikes and scooters. You just have to download the app if you haven’t already and go. All in all the hotel was great, service was great, location was great and we love Henry.

The e-mail confirmation of the booking looked too simple, so I e-mailed the hotel twice for a reconfirmation, however no reply. Pretty simple room, rather hard bed, but I slept OK. Well cleaned. Breakast average, not possible to have a cup of hot chocolate. Receipt not possible to e-mail. Fair price, booked pretty early, just a few weeks after the prices were doubled

Wonderful place to stay in! The hotel is comfortable and nice, staff is very, very friendly and the rooms are clean. The rooms have lovely balconies. Soundproofing was bad though - I could hear everything happening in the corridor. Also there was a (locked) door leading from my room to the one next to me and when my ”neighbour” was taking a shower or watching TV, I could hear everything so well that I woke up one morning my shower was on. The location is bit weird, but worth the train ride and walk.

Late arrival, booked through corporate AMEX, stayed in a room 1011 on 10th floor. Annoying street noise through large windows with no handles and no view of the street due to foils covering them. Was too tired, but could finally sleep. In the morning, the noise was even louder, I checked the windows again, and although they had no handles, I managed to open both of them. Neither was locked! The elevator experience was horrible, the elevators made horrible noise and one started beeping after the 4th passenger and only stopped beeping after 2 passengers got off. The hotel looks old and poorly maintained.

The hotel is multi storey and well situated and has underground secure parking, There are numerous shops, restaurants and a large COOP supermarket very close by. Although the mall area immediately behind the hotel has seen better days, there is also a nice park close by for walking the dog if you have one with you.. The nearest metro station is also within a ten minute walk.The rooms are a decent size and modern with a TV offering a good selection of channels including some Sky and internet. Breakfast is served on the 1st floor, food choices are fairly standard. The only negative was due to the fact that there was quite a strong wind during the night of our stay which caused a high pitched sound as it whistled around the aluminium framed windows (we were on the 8th floor) making it difficult to sleep peacefully, even though the bed itself was quite comfortable.There were only two pillows in the room on arrival but room service brought us two extra on request. There is no fridge in the room, which would be useful given the very hot summer. Fortunately the A/C unit was working and kept the room cool and comfortable.

I stayed with my wife and son 16 years old I liked management, attention to customer expectations We arrive at the reception and there is Jean, a nice and professional, who explains everything to us Minibar in room included in price (never seen before) Free Wi-Fi in all rooms Functional, clean and modern room (peccate there were 3 single beds and not one single and one double, but perhaps it's because I didn't ask it in the booking and in hotels they are not visionary) Ciabutes, various bath products, great modern shower Breakfast with a very varied buffet included Covered parking included (in winter you can't find glasses brinked in the morning) Nice lake in front of the hotel Location a little distant, if you don't have the machine is a little isolated, but you see it in booking so you know it before booking Absolutely recommended

Επέλεξα να μείνω στο συγκεκριμένο ξενοδοχείο τον Νοέμβριο του '22. Σε γενικές γραμμές ήταν καλό. Το δωμάτιο ήταν μεγάλο, με καθαρά κλινοσκεπάσματα, υπέροχο στρώμα, καλό φωτισμό και με ευρύχωρο μπάνιο. Ωστόσο, η μία λάμπα στο δωμάτιο ήταν καμένη ενώ το mini bar για 4* ξενοδοχείο, άδειο! Το πρωινό ήταν πλούσιο σε επιλογές, σε ένα ήσυχο περιβάλλον με καθαρά σερβίτσια. Το προσωπικό του ξενοδοχείου φιλικό, πρόθυμο να απαντήσει σε κάθε ερώτηση, ωστόσο, όταν ζήτησα πληροφορίες για μεταφορά προς το αεροδρόμιο, η μοναδική επιλογή (τους) ήταν ”ταξί” που κατέληξε σε συνεργαζόμενο γραφείο - ενώ σε ερώτηση ενημέρωσης δρομολογίων των λεωφορείων (μιας κι η πτήση ήταν πρωινή ώρα), η απάντηση τους ήταν ”δεν γνωρίζουμε, πρέπει να ενημερωθείτε απ' την εκάστοτε εταιρεία”, κάτι φυσικά που με απογοήτευσε, διότι περίμενα καλύτερη και πληρέστερη ενημέρωση απ' το Guest Relation. Όσον αφορά τη τοποθεσία, βρίσκεται μόλις 5 λεπτά μακριά (με τα πόδια) απ' το μετρό και μέσα σε λίγα μόλις λεπτά βρίσκεσαι στο κέντρο του Μιλάνο.

The room was spacious and clean, as was the bathroom. Buffet breakfast had a good choice and good coffee. We liked a safe underground parking free of charge and the dedicated smoking area where you can actually sit down. Unusually, but the reception is not on the ground floor, but in the basement. Location is good if you have a car and don't mind walking some 15-20 minutes to metro that will take you to Milan center in about 30 minutes. Overall, good value

Vorrei sottolineare come primo aspetto che il profumo all'interno di un hotel dovrebbe essere calibrato in quanto ci sono persone allergiche a cui la profumazioni così forte può dare problemi. Ok profumo di pulito, ma un erogatore è esagerato. Dopo il check in ho seguito le indicazioni per raggiungere la camera che era nella struttura esterna e dopo 10 minuti che vagavo ( perché le indicazioni erano vecchie e non chiare a detta dell'hotel ) sono rientrata e mi sono fatta accompagnare dal ragazzo della reception che mi ha confessato che lui non sapeva nemmeno dove cercare la mia camera perché non era mai uscito dalla struttura e non sapeva dove fosse la mia camera. Ho poi cambiato subito camera perché con moquette. Nel momento dell'ordine non era indicata la pavimentazione e ho dovuto aggiungere 10 euro per cambiare camera . Ho trovato poca professionalità e in un hotel a 4 stelle credo non sia ammissibile.
