Hotels near Parco pubblico - Mada, Milan

A basic hotel with no frills despite its supposed 4-star rating. Firstly, it is very difficult to find if arriving via Assago Milanofiori Nord station. There are no signs and the mapper apps try to direct you via roads and roundabouts that don’t seem to exist given that you arrive above ground level and a multi-storey car park. The reality is that you should just keep walking through the pedestrianised mall of (mostly closed) shops and you will eventually find the hotel. Check-in time is 14.00. The receptionists were actively answering the phones while checking customers in which, in plain terms, is just rude. The room was very dark and basic. It featured a large wardrobe with safe, a large bathroom with shower, and plenty of storage with a mini-bar you can use as a fridge for anything else you buy. I was given a room with two single beds despite booking a double room on *********** When I arrived, the room was very warm and, despite trying to use the wall-mounted console to lower the temperature, it would not seem to work. I called reception and they told me that there was no cold air throughout the hotel and that, if I was warm, I could open the window. Thankfully, it was freezing cold outside and the window opened widely, so the temperature dropped quickly. There are no irons or ironing boards available. I had already read about this from prior reviews so brought a travel iron with me but, nevertheless, a bizarre decision for a hotel to take. I have literally never stayed in another hotel that wouldn’t at least provide an iron upon request. Access to the Mediolanum Forum is similarly not signposted well. Upon exiting the hotel, you cross ahead towards the gym, then turn left and go down a large ramp with a McDonald’s at the bottom. Turn left at the McDonal’s and use the pedestrian crossings to get to a retail park with a long row of shops and use the walkway to head towards the NH Congress Hotel. Once there, turn right and walk up a staircase to a covered walkway leading across the Assago Milanofiori Forum station and the Forum building itself. It was a good 15-20 minute walk door-to-door. There was a good £130 difference between the price of the NH Congress and the H2C Hotel when I stayed here. It is ultimately up to you to decide whether or not you consider the above to be worth the saving.

I had an immediate need to search a room for 3 people for a trip to Milan. Booked just one day before and without much comparison given the hurry. Find this structure that was near where I was served and in zone B. He had a great price on trip and I didn't expect much. It was a very beautiful surprise. Big, clean and clean room. Fantastic shower experience. It is located next to a padel structure where you go for the reception. I didn't know about breakfast, but they made me find a variety of cookies, merendy, thee, cupcakes and fruit juices of a variety of quality. I take this opportunity to thank them for their hospitality. Of course I will come back as soon as we need a good price/quality accommodation in Milan

I stayed twice during a 10 days trip in Europe with my family. The hotel is in a very convinient position nearby the A50 out of Milan. It is a comfortable hotel with helpfull and polite staff. Spacious rooms and clean. Breakfast has a big variety of choices and very good coffee.

Il soggiorno è stato piacevole, in una struttura ben attrezzata, oltre che iconica per la presenza di arredi e richiami all'arte moderna. Ambiente suggestivo, camere razionali e molto spaziose. This hotel is in the Porta Romana district and was within 30 minutes walk of the Duomo so, for us, it was a good locational it was not in the busy part of the city but was close enough to enable us to walk or take public transport to get around all the major central sites. A strong point in its favour is that there are many restaurants close by which we found very convenient - they were good to ! Staff were courteous without being gushing; breakfast was excellent; superior room was tidy and plenty adequate for our requirements.

3 day/2night city break to Milan. This hotel is perfect !! Spotlessly clean, lovely ambience, lighting, chic and the whole stay was faultless. Easy location to access Metro at Porta Venezia, tram stops and buses. Only a 15 minute walk from the central train station. Lovely restaurants close by. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Stayed in room 206 small twin ! Extremely comfortable beds with heavenly products in the bathroom including shower gel, hand wash, shampoo. Non smoking room. It was compact but perfectly adequate for our needs. Situated on inner courtyard so very quiet and cosy. Breakfast was superb.. plenty of selection including fresh fruit salad, granola, yogurt selection, continental meats, cheeses, very tasty scrambled egg, boiled eggs, bacon and sausage. Great selection of croissants, bread rolls, cake. All plentiful and a bright and pleasant breakfast room on ground floor and the staff were efficient and courteous. Would most definitely stay here again in our next trip to Milan

I have been for a couple of days for a work trip in this hotel. It is close to Politecnico di Milano, within walking distance. The large room was well furnished. Nice internal garden to take something to drink. Good breakfast. The staff was very nice and efficient. The room is super-clean, and the shower wide and new.

Everything went well. However, the hotel is far from the center of milan and it takes about an hour by public transport (3 transfers by bus) to get there. Employees very nice, helpful, with knowledge of English. The hotel is clean.

Very nice hotel, a lot of space, but room, but a bit far from the town, I spend 50€ in the evening for taxi to get back to the hotel because public transport aren’t working till late, so at the end with same price I could actually booked hotel in town :)

The hotel is multi storey and well situated and has underground secure parking, There are numerous shops, restaurants and a large COOP supermarket very close by. Although the mall area immediately behind the hotel has seen better days, there is also a nice park close by for walking the dog if you have one with you.. The nearest metro station is also within a ten minute walk.The rooms are a decent size and modern with a TV offering a good selection of channels including some Sky and internet. Breakfast is served on the 1st floor, food choices are fairly standard. The only negative was due to the fact that there was quite a strong wind during the night of our stay which caused a high pitched sound as it whistled around the aluminium framed windows (we were on the 8th floor) making it difficult to sleep peacefully, even though the bed itself was quite comfortable.There were only two pillows in the room on arrival but room service brought us two extra on request. There is no fridge in the room, which would be useful given the very hot summer. Fortunately the A/C unit was working and kept the room cool and comfortable.
