Our recent stay at a charming guesthouse felt like stepping into the pages of a fairytale. The entire house exuded simplicity and warmth, reminiscent of a storybook setting. The gracious host welcomed us with genuine enthusiasm, even though our grasp of Japanese was limited. Despite the language barrier, we thoroughly enjoyed our conversations.
The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the sumptuous dinner. We were almost too full to continue after indulging in the feast. The homemade hamburger steak, lovingly prepared by the host, was exceptionally delicious. If you’re seeking a heartwarming experience in Aso, I highly recommend giving this guesthouse a try.

It is very close to Mount Aso. Dinner and breakfast are very rich. The ingredients are all cooked by the owner and his wife. Beer is also sold. The owner is very friendly and talkative, and there is also a bathhouse where you can take a bath. If the itinerary has arrangements for Mount Aso or Sosenri, it is very suitable to stay here for two days. It is a very comfortable wooden house. It's like living in the forest. The owner is 77 years old and in strong health. He has lived here for 37 years. The environment is carefully decorated and organized.
