Elliot Park Hotel, Autograph Collection

Beautiful hotel and extremely clean and high-end. Was close to the airport and highly recommend.

I checked into this hotel via the app, the mobile key was not working, it had been a long day and check in was after 10pm. Problems with AC, service tech did not speak much english and he did nothing. Also, the whole thing took over an hour to do nothing. Next morning I contacted the front desk about replacing a clock in the room and was spoken to very rudely. Went to the restaurant Tavola and was given a glass of water that just plain "stunk"! Left a message asking the GM to call me and was told he would...he didn't so I left a second message for him to call. Later that day the GM, Jeremy, called me but he seemed very busy and was not interested in hearing the diffiiculties I had with his staff and the cleanliness of the restaurant. So, I said to him "it is obvious to me that you are not interested in hearing these problems" then I told him goodbye. He did not have any interest in making me think he was interested. I sent him a text letting him know about the filthy water glass (which by the way sent me away from the hotel to a wonderful meat at the Capital Grille!) and he never responded to me. I really wish that Marriott stood behind its customers the way that they did before the Pandemic. Just because there was a pandemic does not give Marriott the right to provide substandard service and charge much higher prices. I will not ever choose this location again.

The rooms are well appointed and comfortable - the bench seat is super unique and I used it everyday. Service across the property was prompt, friendly and thorough. The bar was a perfect respite after a long work day. This is my new go to hotel for business trips to Minneapolis.

We expected more because of this hotel is part of the Autograph collection. The rooms felt barely above basic and there were so many little corners cut - the bedding was threadbare - literally no comforter - we just had a thin blanket between sheets and I was shivering at night even though the room was a comfortable temperature. Same with the towels - very thin and cheap quality . Meanwhile they spent money on silly things - for example, the bathroom products were all Sachajuan and even the outlets in the room were all high quality. I would rather have a warm blanket than nice plugs! (Note about the bathroom products - they are large bottles but not secured in any way which makes me feel a little uncomfortable). I thought the fitness center was a decent size given the size of the hotel. Service overall felt lacking - we only interacted briefly with the valet and the front desk staff and each interaction felt forced and unfriendly. Not a great location in terms of walkability and the valet parking was not cheap. I would look elsewhere for a hotel honestly.

We booked two rooms for a concert at US Bank Stadium. We had a “studio king” which was a corner room, spacious and very clean. Lots of corner windows for natural light, including a large window in the bathroom, double vanities and a very large walk in shower. The bathroom included a soaking tub which we didn’t use. These rooms end in 28 (ie, 528, 628, 728 etc). Our daughters had a basic two queen room, which was also very nicely appointed. Our room was reasonably quiet for being on a corner. We didn’t hear any noise from other guests, only a little street noise. We absolutely loved the Sachajuan shampoo and body wash. These are quality products that we were pleasantly surprised to find in a hotel. Beds were comfortable but could have been better. They are platform style and the mattress wasn’t very plush. Pillows flattened easily. US Bank Stadium is a very easy 10 minute walk from this hotel. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. When we arrived for check in, there was an unusually long line due to a computer glitch. An employee served everyone in line either a small glass of IPA or root beer and personally thanked everyone for being patient. Nice touch! We felt very valued as Marriott members staying here. We would definitely stay here again if in the downtown MSP area. For those of you curious about room types, I’ve attached a room layout map from the 6th floor. Rooms ending in 28 are the studio kings. Rooms ending in 29 are corner queens. Rooms ending in 12 are one bedroom king suites. These are the largest room types with the most windows for natural light.

When my family member ended up in the hospital unexpectedly, I needed a place to stay. I am so glad I picked Elliot Park. When I was making last minute arrangements, I was too stressed to navigate a website so I called the front desk and Galie got me set up and gave me peace of mind. When I checked in late at night after a long day of travel, Christiane showed me so much kindness. When I needed to unwind after a long day, the food at Tavola was delicious and David was so kind and Alison had something nice to say as I headed upstairs. There was one minor issue in the bathroom and the engineering staff was knocking at the door 8 minutes after I called down to the front desk. The housekeeping staff left Andes mints every day. I spent 6 tough days at the hospital, but every interaction I had with the folks at the hotel made things a tiny bit easier. Thank you. So much.

The staff, with their warm hospitality, cater to your every whim, ensuring a delightful stay. As evening descends, enjoy the local brews on tap, including the refreshing root beer from the nearby brewery.

The hotel makes a fresh, new impression. Unfortunately, our mattress did not. It was very worn out. That, coupled with the street noise on a Friday night, led us to ask for a different room for our second night. (If our stay had ended on Saturday morning, this would have been a two-star review.) But the next day, things got better. We were moved to a corner suite, which was nicely appointed and had a very comfortable bed. Although it took a little longer to find a room for us than initially expected, Galie and her staff worked hard, and we appreciated their efforts, especially since the hotel was at capacity. (My husband is Lifetime Titanium, so we spend a LOT of nights in Bonvoy hotels, and an upgrade is promised if available – the suite was a very nice upgrade indeed!)

The rooms in this hotel are beautiful, including all the amazing smelling toiletries and large soaking bath tubs/roomy showers. The staff is amazing in every way, and I feel so welcomed everyone I stay- exactly like I’m at home! I’m addressed by name and a very generous welcome gift every time I stay. With the stresses of my job, Elliot is the perfect, cozy oasis that I look forward to. The room service is wonderful and very authentic Italian. Elliot Park is one of my absolute favorite hotels and I highly recommend it due to its amazing staff, food, beautiful interior design and location. I will ALWAYS stay here when I’m in MSP!
