The location is a little bit far away from any attractions, the second night we didn't have any hot water, and waited from 7 pm -10 pm. During the time, we called front desk, but they only said they would check the maintenance, then hang out, never call us back. Our families were disappointed with their service

The room is a suite bar. It has a living room and a fireplace. It is spacious and comfortable. It has a homely feel and is suitable for families with children. Hygiene is also good. It is also convenient to call a car from the airport.

I ENDED UP WRITING A 5 PAGES LETTER TO THE OWNER, TO RADISSON HOTELS AND RESORT, AND TO 3 SELECTED REVIEWS. SEE BELOW  COMPLAINT DEPARTMENT RADISSON HOTELS AND RESORTS SEPTEMBER 14TH, 2022 DEAR SIR,      Good morning!      My name is Dr. Jack Tse      I was in the Radisson Hotel Toronto Airport West from September 6th to 12th, 2022.      The experience that my family went through in that hotel is totally unacceptable. Below is a letter that I had written to the owner today, all the details are spell out clearly in the letter.      As I was an owner of two Toronto area Radisson Hotels before (see detail in the attached letter), it really broke my heart to see a fellow Toronto area Radisson hotel had decayed to this extent.       I felt it is my responsibility to bring this to your attention. Regards, Dr. Tse                September 14, 2022 The Property Owner   Radisson Hotel Toronto Airport West  175 Derry Road East Mississauga, Ontario L5T 2Z7                                                   Confidential Dear Owner,        My name is Dr. Jack Tse, I am 72, a 4th generation Canadian and retired.        I used to own over 2,300 rooms in 8 hotels including 2 Radisson Hotels in Toronto, the 157 rooms Radisson Plaza Hotel Admiral Toronto - Harbourfront, and the 354 rooms Radisson Hotel Toronto East - Don Valley, which you can verify with the Radisson head office.       As I am living in western Canada now, I come to Toronto last Tuesday to pick up some old corporate business files from my old staff and booked to stay in your Radisson Hotel for 6 nights and 7 days. When I did the booking, I had mentioned that I will have a lot of file boxes coming in and out, so I request in writing to have a King Suite that is close to an entrance or exit to do just that.       I check in at 9 pm Tuesday, the front desk manager is very helpful in every way he can and we were assigned room 507. Everything is as advertised so we settled in comfortably.       Wednesday around noon I have the files delivered to the hotel room, the boxes are quite a bit more than what I was told before I came, so I spent the time sorting out all the files that I want to keep. And I was getting rid of the file boxes a lot of 6 at a time. I ask the 2 young men out of the hallway if I can leave the file boxes on the luggage trolley once a day outside my door, and they both told me with a Radisson smile that they will be more than happy to remove it, they mentioned that they are off by 3 pm, so I told them I will put the boxes outside every morning. I need to emphasize the boxes are just corporate files and they  are absolutely clean. The only real garbage with the trolley is the hotel room garbage that they did not come for room service.        So Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday I put out 6 file boxes each time as agreed so it will not

Overall, the service was friendly, my room was nice (a bit pricey but a pretty good value) and there are lots of restaurants and other conveniences nearby. Three things are driving my rating down:  1) When I first entered my room, I found a broken glass in my ice tray (one of the little glasses provided by the hotel. This was missed by the cleaning staff.  2) Parking was a problem in the evenings. I was there 3 nights and all 3 nights there was a wedding or other special event taking place in the hotel. Parking was very limited. On my 3rd night, when my family and I returned to the hotel in the late evening, the lot was literally full (with at least 3 or 4 taxis taking up guest parking spots). We had three cars and it took over 45 minutes before spots started opening up (and close to an hour before all 3 cars had spots). Other guests were complaining, as well.  3) They charge $10 for breakfast, but that breakfast consists of fruit, toast/bagels (that you toast yourself), muffins, etc. This is the type of breakfast that has been complimentary in other hotels that I've stayed at. (I tried it once and did get the breakfast free, but I think that was because the manager heard my nine-year old niece's astonishment when I told her that I had to pay $10!)  Overall, I did enjoy my stay. But, if I return to the northern Mississauga/southern Brampton area, I doubt that I would stay here again. The parking alone is a deal breaker.
