First of all, the hospitality at the airport pick-up was wonderful. Shigira Resort is really safe and secure, and you can enjoy the resort atmosphere without any worries. The hotel room is small, but the bathroom and toilet are separate, so you can take a relaxing bath after washing in the wash area. The breakfast is delicious! It's healthy because you can eat a lot of vegetables. The automatically made pancakes are fun, and I like that you can decorate them with ice cream and whipped cream. There is a pool on the first floor, and the flow of showers and changing is good, but there is only one, so it might be difficult if it was crowded. The sofas in the lobby were also fluffy and relaxing. There is a bus stop to Shimoji Airport right in front of the hotel, so it was very accessible.

I decided to go to Miyakojima on short notice to use up my miles and relieve stress, and booked without doing much research. It's a very reasonable price for Shigira. There is a pool. You can use the shuttle bus. The bus stop is close by. The room was very clean. There was no balcony, but the room had an ocean view. There is no restaurant, but we took the shuttle bus to a restaurant in the resort at night, so it wasn't a problem. There is a yakiniku restaurant within walking distance. For simple shopping, Cross Point Market is diagonally across the street. This place is mainly for souvenirs, but they also have drinks, cup noodles, snacks, etc., so it's not inconvenient here either.

I was happy that the bathroom in the room had a washing area instead of the bathtub that you find in other hotels. Also, I had breakfast at the hotel across the street, and it was delicious, and the operation was good, with tags on the table indicating which seats were available/vacant.
