Beautiful property by day. Staff are warm and friendly. If you choose the sea facing rooms, be rest assured you will sleep well and have good views of the ocean. If you choose the pool facing apartments, you will not sleep - the hotel rents out speakers to their customers. Each one plays their own music. It's just a mess. Wondering why they can't have one DJ to play music. If the owner can afford JBL speakers, he/she can afford head phones for rent so that it's a silent disco.

Booked a place to stay as i was in Mombasa. I had not even seen the ocean but the receptionist just pointed it out to me and that's when my experience started. Everyone was helpful and welcoming and nothing seemed a bother no matter how many times i had to ask for ice.... Well done Jumeirah.

No hot water in shower and water pressure ******. . Ran it for many mins. Never heated up. Otherwise nice place. But that was a huge problem for me!!

Do not book this hotel if you’re looking for a good nights sleep or on a holiday with children. It’s all peaceful in the day but once it hits 6pm, the hotel brings out Shisha and people from the outside arrive and play annoyingly loud music with wireless speakers provided by the hotel (Why they think this is a good idea is beyond me). We had the apartment on the ground floor facing the pool and had nice sofas outside each room. BUT you won’t get to use them because guests who aren’t staying there will be sitting there with their Shisha and music :) goodbye privacy. The rooms themselves are bang average. The toilet in the master room barely had any water running out of the shower and hot water takes about 5 minutes to flow out. When we checked in, the living room also had flies roaming around which we couldn’t get rid off. If you can afford it, I’d suggest heading over to Voyager that’s just up the road. Their all inclusive package is worth the money and you’ll get a peaceful nights sleep.

We were there for Mother's Day and wanted to visit a good restaurant. At the entrance you were checked in like you were in a youth hostel. Not a good day, not even getting up, a man with slippers sat there and demanded a minimum consumption of 4000 shillings. Then we came to an outdoor restaurant at the hotel pool that was 20% full. Disadvantage: Shisha and jukeboxes were mostly rented out. So every table has its own music, which is absolutely annoying. 2 tables had eaten that day, 5 tables had smoked and listened to music. Impossible. I ordered a fish platter for 2 people. 5000 shillings. There was also dry rice and extra vegetables. But only for one person. The fish platter wasn't worth the money, everything was cooked dry or grilled. The waiter was quite friendly but extremely slow and forgetful. All in all, I wouldn't go there again. We also ordered pizza salami so-so, chicken with fries and beef also with fries. Nothing real, just plain chip shop food, just too expensive. Surroundings are actually nice if it weren't for the shishas and jukeboxes. Whoever came up with this idea of renting out Bluetooth music boxes so that everyone can listen to their music from their cell phone must be completely crazy

Security was ample. Rooms were sparkling clean and the whole place was constantly being groomed. My wait at the reception during check -in was pleasant. The ladies and the gentleman at the reception were polite and courteous too. Coming back in the summer.
