We were lucky enough to find this beautiful guest house in Monemvasia just 3 days before our arrival, even though it was a high season. When we arrived in the castle, the reception was located 100m from the gate. A really kind lady welcomed us and led us to the room. We were more than surprised with both the location and the room itself. The room was for 4 guests, having a double bed and two single beds. The whole guest room is made out of stone and has an old fashioned kind of style, making you feel like traveling in another century. It also had a small kitchen with some basic stuff like an induction stove, a pot, a coffee machine and dishes, etc. The room was very clean, it offered small bottles of shampoo and shower gel. We also appreciated the quality of both the towels and the sheets. Also another advantage was that breakfast was included in the price. It was served in a wonderful outdoor space full of trees. The breakfast included lots of homemade jams, fresh fruits, eggs, traditional pies and of course juice and coffee. We highly recommended and we are looking forward to visiting it again.
