Nous avons d’avance 85€ pour une visite du vignoble et dégustation de vins. Arrivée sur place, il n’y avait personne pour nous accueillir autre qu’une employée qui ne parlait ni francais, ni anglais malgré notre précision. L’employée en question ne nous attendait pas et il était clair que son rôle n’était pas de faire les visite guidée. Elle a joint son patron qui lui a demandé de faire la tournée avec nous. Cependant, en entrant dans la cave, elle s’est mise à lire l’étiquette sur le baril. Clairement, ce n’était pas son rôle habituel et malgré sa bonne volonté, nous n’avions pas payé 85€ pour ce genre de visite. Après PLUSIEURS communication avec le propriétaire pour se faire rembourser, celui-ci n’en a rien fait. C’était notre dernière chance de visiter un vignoble lors de notre court séjour en Toscane et cette mauvaise expérience nous en laisse un goût amer. De plus, de toutes les visites que nous avons fait lors de notre voyage en Italie, c’est la seule entreprise qui nous a obligé à payé en avance, lors de la réservation 😡

Despite booking in advance on their website and receiving a confirmation email the day before it’s quite clear no one seemed to know we were coming. Us and another couple had booked the same Premium wine tasting tour. We waited outside the front gates which were locked for 20mims and another 30 mins inside the gates in our car. Eventually after calling the the number we had for them two young girls who were part of a school holiday programme there invited us inside. We were then shown around by one of the winery workers who’s been called up to come show us around. He spoke no English so the young girls came to translate. Not the fault of those called in to help but they had obviously not shown anyone around before and the tour was terrible. We learnt nothing. There were many confused and tense exchanges between the staff who were there to try to pull together something for us but they didn’t know what to do as this clearly wasn’t their normal role there. There was no explanation of the wine we tasted. We were left with the bottles in a tasting room and fended for ourselves. The only saving grace was that they left us to pour for ourselves and take some of the remaining wine home. Not exactly the Premium Wine tasting we paid for. Not the fault of the staff who were there who did their best. Disappointing that we’ve not had any sort of apology from management despite me writing to them afterwards. You get better free wine tasting in the small towns. Definitely not a Premium experience. We would have been better off buying a bottle and staying at home.

Struttura completamente immersa nel verde delle colline della Val d’Orcia, proprio di fronte a Montalcino. Abbiamo soggiornato nella suite da sei posti letto anche se eravamo solo in due: locali rustici ma curati, puliti e spaziosi. Fiore all’occhiello della struttura è il signor Aldo che, dopo averci fatto visitare le cantine e i locali di produzione del vino, ci ha accompagnati in una curata degustazione con cena annessa. Tutto super, non vediamo l’ora di tornare insieme ai nostri amici!

A fantastic experience, highly recommended! We stayed in the apartment over the tasting room which was immaculate and huge. There was only two of us but it would be perfect for a family or a larger group as there were 3 bedrooms. The meal and tasting experience was exceptional. We were given a extensive tour of the wine making facilities ahead of a 4 course dinner and tasting of the rose and red wines that Cordelia produces. Aldo’s cooking gave us the best meal we’ve had in Italy and we were so full we didn’t need breakfast in the morning. I’d highly recommend Cordelia for a relaxing authentic break in Tuscany.

Arriving in the reserved place, a beautiful building in a location without shade in full sun without swimming pool or restaurant. What scam is this? An obnoxious lady welcomes us, not recognizing the gap with the site and not wanting to put us in touch with the bosses. Certainly the rooms are beautiful but the swimming pool is 4 km away in another site (if we call it a swimming pool - sort of pond at the top of the wine-growing installation without deckchairs (only 2) or shade. Having been to see the other site , apart from the disappointing swimming pool , no deckchair to land on . Direct return to our initial place . So there is a huge gap between promise and reality . You have to understand it . Aldo the wine owner , nice , he gave us nevertheless showed his installation and helped us cook in his kitchen and in the end we had an excellent dinner, an excellent evening and a good night in these beautiful rooms. Warned there would have been no problem but the gap between promise and reality is not acceptable.

Superb farmhouse nestled in the green Tuscan hills. We stayed 3 nights in a cozy apartment consisting of 3 double bedrooms, two bathrooms, one with a Jacuzzi, large living room with kitchenette. Here tranquility and good food reign supreme. We had the opportunity to visit the owned cellar where the entire winemaking process from harvesting to bottling was scrupulously explained to us. We continued the evening with a dinner in a private room overlooking the hills where we were delighted by the excellent cuisine (4 courses) with tasting of the company's labels. A special thanks to Aldo who, in addition to delighting us with excellent cuisine and good wine, did not treat us as mere guests but made us feel at home. I highly recommend this estate for the quality offered, for the treatment received and for the very honest price.
