..hotel was unable to find my prepaid reservation, despite my presenting the confirmation number, thus delaying my check in, by about 15-20 mins.
In addition, I was charged a subsequent higher rate, than the prepaid price, per my checkout receipt. .it seems the hotel wanted to push any errors onto Expedia..while in fact that *could* have been the case, I would have appreciated them showing the customer-forward initiative to make things right for the patron. .
The dismissive energy and sentiment I got, from the AM mgr.(?) was that the burden of proof was on me, and that I was somehow an agent in any wrongdoing.
