"A beautiful, relaxing oasis in Gjirokaster– 5 Stars! Hotel Boutique Ergjeria exceeded all of our expectations. The property is gorgeous, meticulously maintained, and felt like a luxurious place to unwind. Best night sleep in all our many stops across Albania and the bathroom and shower were brilliant. What truly sets this hotel apart is the exceptional service; the family that own the hotel were incredibly professional, polite, and genuinely eager to help. From the beautiful room to the incredible breakfast, it was a flawless experience. We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting! It is also within a short walk to the centre with a well lit pavement leading you straight there in under 5 mins with a great view along the way."

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Kalemi 2 in Gjirokastër! The hotel itself is full of charm, beautifully combining traditional Albanian architecture with modern comfort. The breakfast was absolutely delicious — fresh, varied, and served with care in a lovely setting.
A small tip for travelers arriving by car: Google Maps can sometimes make mistakes when guiding you to the hotel, so it’s best to double-check the route or contact the reception for directions — the staff are very friendly and always ready to help.
Overall, a fantastic place to stay in Gjirokastër — cozy, authentic, and with great hospitality!

Hotel located in the heart of old Gjirokastër.
They upgraded my room free of charge and lent me the phone charging cable I had forgotten.
The Google Maps directions are somewhat confusing; it's best to ask for directions once you're in the old town. It's a well-known hotel.
The staff is friendly.
Breakfast wasn't ready on time, so I had to leave without eating because there was nothing prepared.
I suppose it was because it was a quiet day and they didn't expect a guest to want breakfast as soon as the dining room theoretically opened.
I left without breakfast and without coffee.

We had a beautiful stay at Denis’s house. Exellent service from arrival to we left. Joni was a great guide showing us the way to the house and also helping us in the evening when we were lost. Gjirokaster was one of our favorite places in Albania❤️we also had a very good breakfast in the morning.

Very pleasant young team with good English in charge of reception and the breakfasts. Terrace with stunning views. Just on the edge of the old town - everywhere easy to walk to and friendly (but don’t go for the gastronomy) restaurants. A comfortable place to stay.
