Our trip was perfect. Although it was our first time at Xihu Resort, the entire stay was incredibly comfortable. Now we have a clear idea of what we look for in a hotel: comfort is paramount. For vacations, we prefer resort-style hotels with spacious rooms, a garden, complete basic facilities, and architecture that harmonizes with the local customs, both inside and out. Secondly, the hotel's 'software' is excellent – the staff are friendly, polite, attentive, and proactive. They greet guests, offer directions, help with luggage, and open doors without being asked, so you don't have to worry about basic services at all. A rich breakfast is also a key consideration for us; at resort hotels, we usually dine in and then can return to the room to relax before heading out again. My husband and I travel as a couple; it's a family trip but not with children. To be honest, we avoid parent-child hotels because we fear they might be too noisy. So, I'd suggest Ctrip separate 'family' and 'parent-child' as distinct statistical categories. These are two different types of travelers.

I'm so glad I chose the Intercontinental Qiandao Lake, Shilin for this stay. Our two-day hotel trip perfectly met the vacation needs of my entire family, from the youngest to the oldest. The hotel's location and environment are superb. Although it's a bit far from the high-speed rail station, its exclusive spot on the Xianshan Peninsula allowed us to avoid the holiday crowds and enjoy a quiet vacation. We ate all our meals at the hotel for two consecutive days. The Chinese restaurant's flavors were unexpectedly delicious, and the breakfast quality at the all-day Western restaurant was also very high. Ordering noodles and coffee by scanning a QR code was a very thoughtful touch. During our meals, staff members even came to ask about our dining experience and handed out small gifts, making for a great interactive experience. The hotel offers a rich schedule of activities throughout the day, including hiking, sound therapy, and lake tours, so there's never a dull moment. Our butler, Jolie, provided attentive and thoughtful service. She patiently answered all our questions and requests, making it the best service I've ever received at a hotel. Eleven people stayed for five days and the overall feeling was very good. Facilities: The rooms are spacious and well equipped. Environment: The trails on the island are quiet and the air is fresh. Outside the window, the lakes and mountains are panoramic. Hygienic: The indoor and outdoor environment is clean, and the living is comfortable and comfortable. Service: Thank you very much butler! Went to Qiandao Lake with a friend. The pre-sale price on Trip.com was actually better than on the app. The hotel environment is excellent, no complaints there. Although the hotel is a bit older, the decor still looks great and isn't outdated at all, even by today's standards. The view from the selected lake-view room was also nice. The only downside is that the island across is quite close, so perhaps the depth of field isn't ideal. However, the service facilities in all other aspects were perfect. For this price, I really can't find anything to complain about. I'm not sure why there are negative reviews 😂. This trip was hosted by Anna Dai, and the overall service was superb. Breakfast was just average; felt like there weren't many options. As a membership member, I received a complimentary preserved vegetable pastry, which was a nice touch. Overall, a very good experience.

I booked this hotel thinking it was close to West Lake. Before checking in, I quickly scrolled through Xiaohongshu and didn't have high expectations, but after staying there, I felt it was pretty good. From the moment we checked in, I had a good feeling. The front desk saw we had a child and offered to include breakfast for them, even though we only had a double breakfast originally. Honestly, when we travel, my husband never wakes up for breakfast, so it's usually just my son and me eating anyway, but I still appreciate the front desk's thoughtfulness. The room was also great; the 2-meter bed was perfectly fine for two adults and one child, not at all cramped. The bedding and cleanliness were good too. The soundproofing wasn't as bad as some reviews claimed; I thought it was decent. When we left, we accidentally left our new headphones on the nightstand, and they promptly helped us find them. The view from the 10th-floor observation deck was also nice. Overall, it's great value for money and suitable for families who want to visit West Lake.

The overall experience exceeded my expectations! The hotel was very clean, the room was neat and tidy, and the details were handled beautifully, making for a very comfortable stay. The accompanying special activities were a delightful surprise, rich in content, interesting, and very engaging. The most memorable was the sound healing experience; the soothing sounds slowly unfolded, and I unknowingly relaxed and drifted off to sleep, letting go of all my fatigue. It was a healing and relaxing short getaway, perfect for those looking to unwind and destress. Definitely worth another visit!

Front desk staff, Ms. Wang Xiao, kindly upgraded my mother's room for free. The room was spacious and bright, with a bathtub for a relaxing soak. The environment was quiet, ensuring a great night's rest. Breakfast was plentiful, and they even gave us a souvenir upon check-out. I'll definitely recommend this place to my friends and family when they visit Hangzhou.

The hotel is right next to West Lake. The lobby is beautiful, and check-in is on the first floor with a great view. Alan, the concierge, proactively helped me change rooms from my original one to a new one. The service was excellent, and he even moved my luggage for me. There's a snack street nearby with a wide variety of food options. Parking is also convenient with an underground parking lot.

The hotel is close to the trailhead, which is convenient for my trail run tomorrow. The room facilities are in good condition, and the bedding is comfortable. Breakfast is plentiful. The front desk lady is very responsible and helpful; whenever my lunch/dinner vouchers weren't ready, she would accompany me to the restaurant to make sure I could dine first.
