Mountain View Hotels in Lanzhou

The room is OK and big. It is the only hotel I have stayed in that I was not scared of. The uncles and aunts in the kitchen are very nice. When my child was not feeling well, they kept waiting for us even though they had finished get off work. They worked hard. The driver was also great, picking us up and dropping us off. Overall, they were all good and their attitudes were also good!

I was very satisfied. The front desk staff were very thoughtful. The area nearby is bustling with plenty of food and drink options, giving it an old downtown vibe. You can walk to the Yellow River, and there are all sorts of shops along the way. When I returned today, I found my door unlocked and everything seemed normal, which startled me – my own oversight. It seems the hotel is quite safe, with key card access to the elevators.

Extremely satisfied with my stay. The hotel provides a shuttle service to and from the high-speed train station and the airport. Since I had an 8 AM flight, they even packed a simple breakfast for me. This was incredibly helpful for someone new to the city. The room was really nice, very spacious, and super comfortable. There's also a food street right next to the hotel, which was perfect for dinner. Excellent!

The location is excellent, with rooms overlooking the river offering great views and scenery. The decor is nice, but the equipment is quite unsatisfactory; the air conditioning doesn't cool, and the hot water isn't hot… Fortunately, the service is good, with timely repairs. If the repairs couldn't be fixed, they changed rooms. Although this affected the overall experience, I still commend their service. Breakfast was perfunctory, which is to be expected, as the hotel is located in an apartment building (building number 23), with no shops nearby, making dining inconvenient. Parking is relatively convenient.

The room has a fantastic location, with a balcony directly facing the Danxia landform and offering stunning sunset views. The Danxia Scenic Area is right next door, with plenty of authentic local snacks. The hotel is situated in the middle of the loop, offering beautiful scenery no matter which way you turn. Staying in the mountains is incredibly peaceful; I even saw a blue sheep, a Class II protected animal, during my morning run. The scenic area is vast, and staying here allows for a more in-depth exploration.

Because it was my first time booking, I got a free upgraded room, which was quite clean. However, although the upgraded room had good lighting, it was a bit noisy at night because it was close to the roadside. Although I could sleep well, I asked the front desk the next day. The young lady helped me change a room that was not close to the roadside. The young lady at the front desk also changed it for me quickly. Thank you very much! The hotel includes breakfast, which is rich in variety. You can also take it back to your room to eat. My friends and I were very full! tasty! Before leaving, the front desk also gave me a small bag of snacks. I liked it very much. Thank you~

We used to trust Vienna International brand but this one in Lanzhou West, is below our expectation. The bath towels were torn and had frayed edges. No one could believe seeing torn bath towels in use. Room size, bed mattress, air conditioning were fine. Breakfast had nice varieties with fresh cooking. Laundry dryer took exceedingly long time to dry clothing, probably due to poor ventilation or insufficient dryer heat. Hot water shower was good. Quality standard of room preparation needs to be improved. 

Came to Lanzhou for a May Day holiday trip, and the hotel's service was impeccable, maintaining the high standards Holiday Inn always delivers. We even received complimentary snacks and fruit when checking in. We booked a family room for two adults and one child, and it was spacious and comfortable. They offer a choice of regular pillows or latex pillows, which is a nice touch. The beef noodles for breakfast were quite good, though it was a bit crowded. Just a small suggestion: the nightlight is positioned directly at the foot of the main bed. Whenever you move your feet or legs, like when turning over, the nightlight comes on, which isn't ideal for light sleepers.

A hidden gem hotel for family trips in Lanzhou! We booked a standard room, and the front desk staff were very friendly. Seeing we had a child, they upgraded us to a triple room. The hotel's location is excellent, close to the Yellow River scenic area, making it super convenient for getting around. The room was spacious and clean, with cool air conditioning and comfortable bedding. The staff were patient and attentive, free parking was convenient for those driving, and the breakfast featured authentic Northwest specialties. A truly comfortable trip!

This homestay is cost-effective and the rooms are clean and tidy. Although there is no air conditioning in all the rooms, it is still acceptable for short-term stays. Because I personally like this kind of home feeling, I feel it is very warm, just like returning to my own home, and living very comfortably. However, given the advice of some reviews, if you are looking for more facilities and comfort, a hotel might be a better choice. After all, there is nothing particularly amazing here, it is more of a simple and comfortable living experience. Because of the special date, I was unable to book a room the next day, which shows that this B&B is still very popular. If you like this kind of living and warm environment, you might as well give it a try.
