Deze B&B ligt vrij afgelegen en is met de auto bereikbaar via een smal hobbelbaantje. De ontvangst was eerder militaristisch en bazig, maar de uitbaatster leek met de tijd een beetje te ontdooien. We hadden een grote, nette kamer, weliswaar redelijk vochtig. De matras was (veel) te zacht en de kamer (voor de volwassen kinderen) zonder balkon bleek heel moeilijk te koelen. Dit is geen goedkope streek om te overnachten en dit etablissement is op die regel zeker geen uitzondering !

Nuestra estancia fue maravillosa. Lourdes una anfitriona de 10 y el entorno de la casa es idílico para desconectar. Rodeados de naturaleza y a la vez muy bien comunicado. La casa super agradable, camas muy cómodas y desayuno excepcional con comida y dulces caseros. Muy recomendable, repetiremos sin duda.

Wir waren 3 Nächte in der schönen, sehr geschmackvoll gestaltete Unterkunft, in der wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt haben. Große Zimmer mit großen Betten, in denen wir gut geschlafen haben. Tolles Frühstück, ist auf jeden Fall sehr zu empfehlen. Nach Bilbao mit dem Auto ist es 20 Minuten, mit dem regelmäßig verkehrenden Bus nur 40 Minuten. Kostenlose Parkplätze und ein EV-Charger, der gerade defekt war. Wir würden das kleine Hotel mit den wenigen Zimmern für einen Bilbao-Brsuch wieder nutzen.

Une expérience mémorable. Tout d’abord, Lourdes est une femme formidable, son hospitalité, sa gentillesse, ses talents culinaires, sa propriété en font un endroit fabuleux où il fait très bon vivre. La chambre est juste parfaite et spacieuse pour un séjour en amoureux. Le calme, la nature nous entour et la plage se situe à 15mns en voiture. Greetings on our arrival were very good, the owner thankfully speaks excellent English. She was also very clear on instructions for us to find our way around a strange city, and her tip about using the "Funikular" to access Bilbao and the Guggenheim was spot on! Free parking, and casual walking to the city centre.
Breakfast was very good, and I got the scrambled eggs that I wanted (perfectly cooked).
The only downside was no facilities for making hot drinks (tea/coffee/chocolate) in the room.
The interior finish of the Casa Rural Errota Barri is to a very high standard.

Great innkeeper and breakfast. Extremely tastefully decorated rooms and common areas and not to far from action in Bilbao. Only caution is the rooms don’t have air conditioning and there were no screens to keep out bugs at night and we experienced a heat wave in early October - a portable fan made sleeping bearable but certainly not ideal for Americans who are used to cool air conditioning at night.
