Hotel Sendlinger Tor

The hotel has its lights and its shadows. Honestly the best of all is the location/price. Of course, after having been there, I wouldn't pay more either, like the prices I have been seeing in the same hotel for the same room days before arriving. The hotel is renovating some of the rooms, and the noise from the construction was a bit annoying. But since we were hardly in it, we didn't give it any more importance. What I didn't like was the room they gave us, very small. Everything about her was uncomfortable. The shower was narrow, with a curtain that stuck to you and on top of that the water regulators were poorly placed, which further reduced the space and were very old, which you had to be careful not to touch because you could get burned. The beds were very uncomfortable, if you sat on the bed, you could feel the springs. The duvet couldn't be older, it was missing filling everywhere. Plus the pillow had the same problem as the duvet. And another inconvenience, at the beginning of winter, the bathroom radiator did not work. It would have been good for us. I have paid for hotels with a very good location and a similar price with (at least) comfortable beds. The hotel staff is very nice and charming, and they have luggage storage, and they let us check in early because they already had the room ready, which is also a plus. Don't expect luxuries, it looks more like a pension (it is completely in need of renovation). Since it is not available from many services either. Despite the inconveniences, I would return to the same hotel, since the location was perfect and I don't need much when I travel.
Ibis Hotel München City

It was absolutely pleasant short stay in February 2023. We made booking by mailing the hotel directly. The reservation person , Ravi, was very helpful during the reservation communication. The hotel has a very convenient location - few steps from Central station.-so one can move around the city with no issues The check in was very smooth, Daniel, receptionist, was very welcoming and efficient at the same time.Thank you, Daniel. The room was of right size, clean and cosy, bathroom was tiny but shiny clean with all amenities one might need during the short stay. WIFI is good, stable signal. Highlight of the stay - breakfast: so delicious options to choose from! Dear restaurant team, thank you very much for fabulous breakfasts! Good value for money paid. Definitely recommend for short stay.
Ibis Muenchen City Arnulfpark

This is our favorite hotel in Munich and we have been returning here time after time. It is comfortable, with great breakfast buffet, and most of all, very convenient to anywhere in Munich. We always buy the day pass on public transportation and the tram (this time a bus) stop is right down the corner, which takes us to the center in minutes. It has an easy access underground garage, great advantage in busy city. We will return here again on our next trip to Munich!

I booked this hostel last minute, and I've never stayed in a hostel before, so I can't really compare it to other places. Despite reading reviews on Hostelworld about the single rooms being hot, I have no complaints about the room. I stayed in Munich when the temperature had a low of 20 Celcius and a high of 30. I had no issues with the room. I did have a large fan on in the room, which kept it cool. My room also had its own balcony and I sat outside to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner. Perfect for those who love their own space or couple. My only gripe was that the WiFi was slow at times, so I couldn't even search the website to test internet speed. I had a data roaming plan, so this wasn't that big of an issue. I would stay here again if I'm back in Munich. A Lidl at the end of the street and the Train station is a 2-minute walk away. It couldn't get better.
Ibis Muenchen City Ost

It was very comfortable because it was in a good location and quiet place, 20 minutes by tram from the central station. There is a big supermarket next door, so you can find anything there. I still want to use it.

very nice! Especially breakfast. Parking is also available on the roadside at the entrance, and the fee is 2 euros an hour from 9 to 23 o'clock. 11 euros a day. Opposite is the church and very close to the subway station.
