Not a good experience. Upon arrival, I bumped a sliding door with a luggage cart and it stopped working. We reported it and the manager fixed it. That night, the Front Desk worker came to our room and said she needed to get a credit card in case they had to charge for repairs. Nothing else was said. The Monday after check out, the hotel charged $250 with no explanation. I tried to call the hotel on three separate occasions but they didn't answer. In addition, the pool was closed for all 4 days we were there - no reason, just a sign. The lavatory sink was also cracked and needs replacing. Rooms need some renovations. There are better places to stay in the Myrtle Beach area for a comparable price. Disappointed this is a Choice property.

My wife and I are in our 70's and travel often. This is the absolute worst hotel that we have ever stayed in. The manager - SELENA - should not be allowed to interact with the public. Nothing works in this place, including her. Whatever you do, don't ask her to rectify any problems. Her solution is to call the police on you, which after speaking to an officer, is a routine response. We stayed there for 2 days (there were no other options within 20 miles of Myrtle Beach) the pool was closed and it was 90+ outside. The showers had no hot water. There is black mold in the showers. The carpets are ratty & smell of mildew. Towel racks are hanging off the walls. Sketchy people who are not staying in the hotel, hang out in the lobby all day and talk to SELENA while she ignores people wanting to check in. The vending machines don't work. Also, stay away from the free breakfast, the food is disgusting, sitting in grease & cold eggs. The computer in the business center does not work. The only washer and dryer in the laundry room had the same clothes in them for both days , so they were not usable. Best advice - stay far away from this place - sleep in your car first.

Booked a two double bed room months in advance. At the last minute the step daughter decided to come with us. Our other children are 4 and 1. When the lady at the counter asked how many people I was honest and told her. I was immediately hit with, “you’ll have to call the 3rd party company as our rooms have a max occupancy. I tried to reason with her stating that youngest sleeps with us and won’t eat the free breakfast as she doesn’t eat much solid foods yet. Nope. Called the third party (whole other conversation) who told me they had no availability for 5 people, even if it was a small child. We decided to cancel and we knew we wouldn’t get a refund which is fine, but when I went back in to tell the lady she told me “you can’t cancel” Watch me.

Worst ever! It should be called the sleepless inn. So much noise and zero accountability from management. Refused to check us out because we reserved for two nights. Manager said they couldn't do anything about our multiple complaints because she wasn't there to investigate herself when they occurred! Also stated we were the only complaints but when we were in the lobby complaining about the noise in the night two other guests were doing the same. Horrible, terrible, do not stay here if you want to sleep. That is all

Vacation | Family Was accused of smoking in the room and was charged $100. when I reached out to the hotel the GM was EXTREMELY rude and nasty right off and even hung up on me!! After being accused of smoking in the room it then changed to we smoked in the wrong area outside (at checkin we were told we could smoke anywhere outside just as long as we did not smoke in the hotel rooms etc.) then it changed to there were cig butts on the ground. Apparently we are the only ones on the whole hotel that smoke? This woman was finding anything she could to justify charging us. There's a case open with corporate so let's hope they do the right thing. But I've seen several comments on here about this manager .. I really hope they do something about it. Losing $100 sucks esp when its for something you didn't do, but it was how incredibly nasty this woman was that's got me. Otherwise the rooms were really clean, the beds were comfortable. The gentleman that worked this morning was the first employee to acknowledge our existence in the 3 nights we stayed there. He was very friendly. This hotel has a lot of potential, just needs better management. **Edit** it's been almost a month and ...🦗crickets. I keep getting the run around with corporate. When you work so hard for your money and then it gets taken like this, and you get attitude from the manager (who 90% of these reviews are about) it's not right. And it's very upsetting. I wish this company the best, but I will let people know how they run things there of asked..

I've stayed in this hotel for business and Sunday night and I will be checking out Wednesday morning ! The manager here is an older black female she is awesome they're really not that busy and don't have a lot of employees since they're not that busy but the manager working the front desk the other day and she was in cleaning rooms there's an older white female that does breakfast very nice and she cleans also and there's a younger black female that works the afternoon shift she is very helpful and very knowledgeable and there's a younger white male that works at night shift he is awesome also ! Very clean breakfast was good the service was good and if I come down here for business again I will definitely have my boss book me in this hotel ! I don't know these people's names but the manager that's an older black female keep up the great work you have some great employees God bless and thank you so much !

Don't go there. The Manager, Salena is the rudest person we have ever met. This hotel gave us false information, then REFUSED to refund the first night. We have fought for over 3 months to rectify the problem with no avail. The Manager, Salena has lied repeatedly to our CC company, and the Parent Company, Choice Hotels refuses to get involved. These people have no intent to be a hospitality company, but instead a cash grabbing facility. We even tried to speak to the owner of the hotel, but Salena nor Corporate would help. DO NOT EVER MAKE RESERVATIONS WITH THIS PROPERTY!!!

Selina is the rudest and most unprofessional person I've met in a long time especially in hospitality related business. She got upset because she stated my sister was supposed to pay for her stay online according to her. Because I paid for the room in person with my credit card the day before my sister was supposed to stay at the hotel she got upset and canceled the room the next morning even though the room was already paid for. She told me that she spoke to my sister twice and she should have paid online. I told her if that was a problem why did they accept my money. She told me that the person was new and knew she should not have taken the money and she was going to be punished. Why would you tell me personnel information regarding your staff? This is unprofessional. She also told me I was being recorded and she did not hear me say I wanted to put a room in my name for my sister. Why would I when I paid for the reserved room for my sister!!?? And why am I unaware that I was being recorded. The stated there are cameras everywhere and people are being recorded at all times. How do a hotel/Selina cancel a room that is already paid and think this is proper business? My sister had to find another place to stay at the last minute during this busy summer season in Myrtle Beach SC. I stressed my whole family. You cancel the room the next morning before check-in??? No thank you to any more Sleep Inn stays and I will also tell the people I know about this.
