My wife and I are in our 70's and travel often. This is the absolute worst hotel that we have ever stayed in. The manager - SELENA - should not be allowed to interact with the public. Nothing works in this place, including her. Whatever you do, don't ask her to rectify any problems. Her solution is to call the police on you, which after speaking to an officer, is a routine response. We stayed there for 2 days (there were no other options within 20 miles of Myrtle Beach) the pool was closed and it was 90+ outside. The showers had no hot water. There is black mold in the showers. The carpets are ratty & smell of mildew. Towel racks are hanging off the walls. Sketchy people who are not staying in the hotel, hang out in the lobby all day and talk to SELENA while she ignores people wanting to check in. The vending machines don't work. Also, stay away from the free breakfast, the food is disgusting, sitting in grease & cold eggs. The computer in the business center does not work. The only washer and dryer in the laundry room had the same clothes in them for both days , so they were not usable. Best advice - stay far away from this place - sleep in your car first.
