Hotel JAL City Nagano Reviews

Is a bit far from JR station around 12 mins walk. And hotel exterior is a bit old fashion. And room layout is a bit strange( hexagonal shape) . Other than that overall is satisfactory, bed very comfortable and big size, staffs are very polite and efficient check in. Amenities is very sufficient and you don’t need to bring any of your own.

Hotel is quite a walk from train station, but there’s many nice cafes and restaurants nearby. The room is spacious and decent. Hotel staff is very helpful, we transferred our luggages over to Osaka as we are heading for Tateyama nice walls. Received them with ease, and hotel staff is very kind to help us complete the form in Japanese language.

Great place with friendly staff. The twin room was big and the bathroom convenient. There is a lounge area with washing machines, microwave and drink machines. Definitely a good place

I visited Nagano both to visit family and to work. The reception was completely understanding of my need to have the hotel room for video calls overseas and kindly helped me arrange servicing of the room accordingly. The room size for one was comfortable enough for a foreigner about 6 foot 1 in height. The bed was cozy, and overall the room was quiet despite being there over the New Year holiday. The Chinese dinner box was pretty good, and the 16th floor breakfast buffet has both an amazing view and a delicious buffet. It's quite Japanese-themed, but has enough western food variety to make trying it more than once during the trip possible.

Good location.

The housing is good and the hygiene is good. It's just that the hotel checkout was a bit early, at 10 o'clock in the morning. Quiet🤫The environment is okay. Very close to sightseeing spots. It’s quite convenient to go to Nagano Station. This time I went out for skiing⛷️There were more foreigners.

I went to Nagano by chance and booked this hotel. It was a good value for money and had everything I needed, but the room was not big. Traveling is also convenient, not far from Nagano Station and can be reached on foot.

The location is good. The room is small, with a window, but when you open it, you can see the window of the building next door, which is about 1m away from you. It's an awkward handshake.

The room and bath were clean, the air conditioning was good and comfortable. The drink service on the top floor and the breakfast were delicious and very good. The receptionist was kind and efficient and helpful. The only disappointment was that the refrigerator wasn't cold and the ice cream went bad. But I'd like to use it again next time. Thank you very much.

Everything was good. Just in time for the Nagano Marathon. The view from the hotel window was also good. The breakfast was rich with a variety of delicacies. The price/performance ratio was very good. I would definitely stay here again if I had the chance to come to Nagano again.

Good hotel with parking

It is about a 10-minute walk from Nagano Station and is a relatively old hotel. The building is well maintained and has all the necessary equipment. Comics in the laundry room can be taken to the room to read!

I was surprised at how clean the room was. The ornaments in the lobby are also cute. And the breakfast buffet is the best! ! It was delicious, there was a lot of variety, and the seats were like an observation deck, which was great.
