I stayed here for 2 nights. Check in was polite, but very few of the staff are competent in English. My room was at the very far end of the corridor, but I was at least rewarded with a little balcony with a view of the church and Glover Gardens. The room was small, but otherwise no complaints. I decided to take the drinks voucher for my welcome gift - there's no bar though so you have to have it in the restaurant. I wanted to take it back to my room, but they insisted on seating me, giving me a glass of water etc, when all I wanted was a beer! I should've taken the points. Hotel is in a good location, near the Gardens, close to a tram stop, and less than 10 minutes walk to Chinatown. I'd stay again. One oddity - a friend was planning on joining me, but he couldn't book a room (I tried too), it seemed fully booked. He didn't come in the end, so no worries there, but the hotel was far from full.

This is the best hotel with the highest quality I have stayed in in Kyushu. It is equipped like an apartment. The room is spacious and more than enough to open two 30-inch suitcases. The Japanese-style bed board is not afraid of children rolling and falling. There is a washing machine in the room. , it also comes with 3 laundry balls, a kitchen, pots, pans, knives, dishwashing liquid and vegetable cloth, which is more complete than we thought! Although there is an exhaust fan, the room where the Wagyu beef is fried is full of smoke, but it dissipates immediately. There is a bathtub in the toilet, so you can take a bath. The hair dryer is a salonia, which is so powerful that I ran to buy one! The hotel does not have a key card, so it will use a QR code as a key card. It feels very safe and convenient! Downstairs is JUNE COFFEE. The breakfast set is 1,300 yen per serving. It’s a little pricey but it’s delicious and beautiful. Highly recommend!

The hotel is well located for the Tram which is the main transport around Nagasaki and there are good restaurants, coffee shops (try Caffe Veloce) and convenience stores nearby in the lanes. The room was also one of the biggest we stayed in. But a heavy downside for us was the cigarette smoke smell in the reception area because of its proximity to the bar where smoking is allowed. The bar itself looked great but we didn't use it, or take the breakfast option because of the smell. If it wasn't for this I would definitely have rated it higher.

GGuest User 2024.05.04
I stayed in the ”Premium Balcony Twin” on the top floor (13th floor) for one night from Sunday, April 28th. The hotel just opened on January 16th this year, so the whole place is very clean, and the objects displayed everywhere are casually neat, but very highly designed. [About the rooms] The biggest feature of the rooms is the balcony. When you go out onto the balcony, you can feel the pleasant breeze, and you can see the hilly streets typical of Nagasaki, the mountain on the opposite side of Mount Inasa, and the Nagasaki Port with many ships passing by on the left, which was very refreshing. The room is a spacious 36m2, with a comfortable bed, a large walk-in closet, and the power system is equipped with the latest facilities. You can also enjoy Youtube and Netflix on the large screen hanging on the wall. The bathroom is also spacious and well equipped with a narrow but long bathtub, rain shower, hand shower, and other facilities, and the layout is straight from the balcony of the room, so the whole room feels very spacious. [About the Club Lounge] The hotel's club lounge, the M Club Lounge, is located on the top floor (13th floor), and its appeal is that it is open 24 hours a day. The sofas are spaced apart in the lounge, which is larger than I expected. During cocktail time and coordinated time from 4pm to 9pm, alcohol, cocktail food, and sweets are available, and the quality is quite high. It was a long weekend day, so the lounge was busy, but it didn't feel as cramped as I expected. [About Breakfast] Breakfast was served in a Japanese and Western buffet style at Harbella on the 7th floor, where the reception is located. The food was reasonably high quality, and local foods such as Goto udon and Nagasaki sara udon were also available. However, the main dish, which used to be made to order, was now available at the egg station in the buffet area, and I didn't think it was worth the price of 5,500 yen. [About the staff service] This left a good impression. Especially in lounges and other places where manual, formal, and reserved service is common these days, I liked the way the young staff actively tried to communicate with guests. [Points of concern] I would like to see additional recreational facilities such as a pool or spa. If this is difficult given the location, I would like the hotel to expand its services as a city resort, such as by organizing original sightseeing tours. I feel that as the hotel ages and guests tire of it, it will become a high-end terminal hotel mainly for business and banquets. One more thing I would like is for the route to be made clearer for those arriving by car. Unless there is at least an area reserved for guests in the Amu Plaza car park, it will be very difficult to park when it is busy.

It was a quiet place in front of the station, the staff were kind, and the breakfast was individually packaged because it was a corona disaster, but it was very delicious. The room was also sealed and it was warm without heating. Because it was in front of the station, I was able to shop and eat easily. The transportation was good and I was surprised at the number of buses, but it was a convenient hotel because it was not written on the signboard such as where to go, so it was difficult to find it, or it was easy to go to the sightseeing spot. There were many shops in Nagasaki Station, such as various seafood and souvenirs. It's a hotel you want to use again.

GGuest UserWe stayed for 3 nights at this new and beautiful hotel. While it was a bit DIY-ish to take whatever the amenities you wanted at the reception area, I found this practical. When we wanted more towels, a receptionist was happy to hand us one as well. I enjoyed the top floor outdoor bath as well as breakfast daily. From TA review, I learnt that the bath could be quite busy. Maybe because we stayed at this Candeo Hotel on weekdays, I never had to feel crumped in the locker area. Breakfast had a variety of local Japanese and western spreads, and it was delicious. The location of the hotel was superb. The major tram stop was within a few minutes on foot. We could walk to Dejima, Megane Bridge, even to the Dutch Slope. There were a plenty of restaurants nearby. The only reason that I could not give 5 stars was that the staff appeared to be distanced. I used to frequently stay in hotels around the world, and I consider receptionists to be the gatekeepers of hotels. With a bit of training, they can smile a little more and perhaps be friendlier. I stayed in 3 more hotels during my recent trip to Japan, and unfortunately, this Candeo Hotel’s receptionists spoke the poorest English, and all of the staff I encountered, including those at breakfast and other areas, looked unhappy.

GGuest UserI was going back on a day trip, but the facilities in Nagasaki city were too substantial and stayed in a hurry. I accidentally discovered when I was looking for a hotel with hot bath facilities near the station. Search for today's accommodation price in the hotel lobby. I knew the cold and the full content of the hotel, so I decided by the amount presented by the hotel. The elevator is rare in a business hotel and 3,4 units. Security is also safe to push the card key and the accommodation floor. On the first floor, there is a convenience store (which can be entered and left by hotel key), and the hotel original snack is prepared at night, and the hot bath facilities are also complete with inner bath, open-air bath and sauna. Both can be selected because there is a shower room in the room. It is good to go with a feeling like a hiding hotel because it is located one step away from the street. It is recommended to enjoy the night view and the emotion of Nagasaki depending on the place.

GGuest UserOn the map, this hotel is very well located. Buses (including airport buses) and trams stops directly in front of the hotel. In practice, however, you need to use a foot bridge with only stairs to access the trams. If you are travelling with large luggage or have accessibility issues, it won't be so convenient. The hotel is (barely) within walking distance from Nagasaki Train Station, but there's no restaurant really close by. There's a convenience store located right on the first floor though. The hotel had an impressively large, old school styled lobby. The staff were really nice and professional even by Japanese standard. The public space met my expectation for a 4 start hotel. The room was huge for the price, and that was probably the best thing about the hotel. The interior was not fancy, and I saw many comments complaining the hotel being ”too old”. But personally, I found it work pretty well. The price was really good for the room size, and it did not feel as worn-out as some comments suggested. The general look and feel was slightly different from most Japanese hotels probably because it was previously ran by an international hotel chain. There were, however, some obvious issues about the room. I was able to hear my neighbor talking, which is something I don't expect from a 4 star hotel in Japan. There was some mysterious stomping sound in early morning every day. The card reader on the wall contained a powerful blue light that turns the whole room blue when all the lights turned off. If you like trains, the hotel has good view to trains getting in and out of Nagasaki station. You will hear them a bit but they don't run very frequently. The breakfast was offered on the top floor of the hotel, and the view was fantastic. The food quality was pretty good for the price, with lots of local specialties on the menu. I will recommend it. Overall there were lots of things to like about the hotel, but the soundproofing was really below standard for Japan, and my sleep quality wasn't that good. Which is why I only give it 3 stars. For those who are generally not bothered by noises or lights when sleeping, I think this hotel still worth a serious consideration for its value.

GGuest UserA new business hotel 5,6 minutes walk from Nagasaki Station to Dejima, and the entrance is not conspicuous. The semi-double room itself is not large, but it is enough for one person. It should be noted that the toilet and the washbasin are different from the bathroom. There is also a washroom in the bathroom. There is a hot pot, hair dryer and refrigerator. Although there is no public bath, it is more than the first point as a business hotel. I can't evaluate breakfast (1200 yen) because I don't eat it, but it seems delicious in the photograph

GGuest UserThe hotel is in a great location. You can get there by taking the elevator and crossing the overpass from Nagasaki JR Station and the tram station. There are several convenience stores and restaurants around. It is a busy area in downtown Nagasaki. It is not far from the main attractions such as Shinchi Chinatown and the Atomic Bomb Museum. 周師傅1975I just got off the airport shuttle and it took me about ten minutes to find the hotel (the location was not easy to find). When I arrived, I realized that it was facing the main restaurant in Chinatown. The front desk is on the third floor, and the service is friendly and professional. The size of the room was okay. I didn't notice that I had to get the bath towel from the room first when I was taking a bath in the hot spring. There weren't many attached in the bathhouse. The hot spring temperature is not high, it is probably an artificial hot spring. Starting at 9:30 in the evening, there is a free half bowl of ramen, which tastes so-so. I was looking forward to breakfast the next morning. I thought there would be Chinese breakfast dishes, but ended up with a few Chinese dishes. I hope the hotel can improve this more

GGuest UserThis time I stayed in a room with 3 beds with 3 family members. The size of the room, the lighting (brightness) and the cleanliness were great. Especially, I am very satisfied with the size of the room (of course, it is not as large as overseas, but in Japan there are 3 beds, and I am impressed with that size). The location of the hotel was also convenient between Nagasaki Station and the center of Nagasaki. The front desk customer service was very good except for one person. I want one of them to follow other staff and do their best to provide better service in the future. The hotel is a bit old, but it was well maintained and I was able to spend a very comfortable time with my family.

GGuest UserI was able to spend a relaxing time in the renewed room. When I asked at the front desk about the place I wanted to visit, I carefully examined and received the materials. Thank you very much. There were many types of breakfast and I enjoyed it. It was a late time, but the fewer side dishes were properly replenished. One unfortunate thing. When you try to sleep, next door? The sound of drainage in the room echoed in the room for a few minutes. The drainage sound of the washbasin in the room I stayed in was also loud, so I thought it was a problem of drainage connection construction.

GGuest UserI stayed at Nagasaki 1 of this hotel. The room had a refrigerator, gas stove and dining table. There were pots and frying pans, so I think you can make a simple meal. There was also a washing machine, iron and ironing board. It is a condominium. It may be convenient to stay at the examination. Convenience stores and stations were nearby, and the windows were double sash, so I didn't feel any noise. Every site had not very good comments from the hotel here, but it was clean and comfortable.

KKenji HWe stayed in the 401 room of the private room in a two-stage bed. This is a simple accommodation renovated the miscellaneous building, 5 floor, but there is no elevator, so if you have a lot of luggage, it is hard to move to the upper floor. 4 The room on the floor is a room made of a large room easily separated into multiple rooms. There is a subtle gap with the next room in the window part, and the sound and light leak. Also, the wall on the corridor side has stained glass windows, so light from the corridor leaks. People who are used to backpacker travel will not be problematic because they have people coming and going late, but it is not recommended for people who are sensitive to sound and light.
