First, we were greeted by the front desk and they gave welcome drinks. The room is small but very clean and everything we need is already provided. You can get toiletries in their desk. Room: The moderate double room was stylish, clean, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. However the aircon in the room was not cold, the hotel had to provide us a portable fan and we have to open the window slightly to let the cool air in. I would have rated the facilities to be 5 stars if the aircon is cool enough. Service and Facilities: The staff were friendly and efficient. The hotel amenities, including Wi-Fi were excellent. We didn't try the public bath though, it was very crowded. Overall Impression: Mitsui Garden Hotel Nagoya Premier provided a fantastic stay with its great service, comfortable rooms, and convenient location.

I stayed there with my mom, and we liked the location as it was super close to the station. However, we would like to leave some comments for other guests. We booked the Superior Twin Room - High Floor - Non-Smoking, which was located on the 21st floor. I thought the room would be big, as the photos on the website suggested, but it was not. We hardly placed our big suitcase and packed our luggage. The room and the bed were so tiny that it only fit one person. I think this hotel is designed more for business purposes than for tourism. Also, we ordered the hotel breakfast and thought it would be served inside the hotel, but it turned out that the hotel gave us redemption tickets and asked us to have breakfast at the restaurant located on the ground floor, right next to the front desk and the restaurant. The food was not bad, and they provided two options, such as Japanese and Western breakfasts. We only had breakfast there for two days; for the other days, we ate outside near the hotel, where there were more options, and the price and quality were even better. Regarding check-out time, we were asked to leave the room by 10 a.m., which was too early for us. If you want to check out later, you need to pay 1,000 yen per hour. That means if you want to check out at 12 p.m., you need to pay 2,000 yen. I think the early check-out time is very inconvenient for guests, especially when breakfast at the restaurant is available until 11 a.m. It seems quite unreasonable.

Good location only 3-5 minute walk from jr station, opposite of Big camera There are several restaurants around. The room is very small for 2 people. You cannot walk pass each other. But it’s clean and near the train station.

The response from the front desk at check-in was wonderful. It was very convenient as it was less than 10 minutes walk from Kanayama Station. Also, the room was clean and there was an air purifier that humidified the room, which is a good thing compared to other hotels. Above all, I was able to stay at a cheap price, so if I ever stay in Kanayama again, I would like to use it again.
