1801 First Luxury Inn

My husband enjoyed our stay at this beautiful B&B. The location is perfect. The grounds are lovely and have beautiful flowers. We stayed in one of cottages. Warm and cozy. It was spotless and peaceful. A Keurig in the room, and more clothing storage would be great. Breakfast was delicious. Laura is a gem- so friendly and kind. All staff we encountered were so nice and helpful. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to meet the owners during our stay. We would definitely stay in this lovely place again.

Very nice! Comfy bed, fresh linens everyday! Daily breakfast served, nice selection and delicious! Owner was very friendly and accommodating! Definitely recommend and would stay again!! Within walking distance to downtown Napa! Off street parking!

Had a great stay. Met all my priorities for a home-away-from-home: friendly and helpful staff, central location within 5-minute walk to restaurants and shops and short drive to wineries, clean and luxurious accommodations, comfortable bed, and three choices for breakfast entrees! Each evening at 5:30 pm there was a wine and cheese gathering at the outdoor garden/patio area where we met the other guests at the inn. Would definitely stay here again if we visited Napa.

Our stay was lovely and the room was luxurious! Breakfasts were excellent as well but the best part of the experience was the wine and cheese get togethers in the garden. We met amazing people and the conversations were lively! It was the highlight of the trip! Would not hesitate to return to the inn if in Napa again.

Our first experience staying at a B&B. This will not be the last. The owners, rooms, grounds, breakfast, evening wine tasting and even the other guests made our short stay - awesome. If you are looking for a nice location very close to town HIGHLY RECOMMEND 1801 First Luxury Inn. You will not be disappointed.

We enjoyed our stay! Our room was spacious & clean. I appreciated having housekeeping every day Being able to pick our bfast from the menu each day & the time was great too. We went to the wine hour on one of our nights & that was great - it was so nice chatting with the other guests. It felt really homey.

This is THE place to stay! The greeting of wine and charcuterie board in our room when we arrived late, exhausted, stressed n hangry….words can’t even explain how very thankful, blessed and WELCOME we felt! The hot shower, the luxurious bedding, the pure comfort and exquisite ambiance. Breakfast every morning was a gourmet ecstasy! Every bite, every morsel, each moment Devine! The entire staff positively a delight!!!! We are hoping to return soon, with dearest friends in tow. We were perhaps less than exemplary guests. Horror n embarrassment. Eek. Never in our 53 yrs of wedded bliss have we been so extremely mortified. Hubby “lost” - dropped ? perhaps flushed ???? The beautiful antique looking room and house keys. We spent all of our last day retracing our morning, making phone calls and begging, BEGGING!!! Everyone to please, please, look and call us if they are found. No such luck. We were forced to do a fracturing walk of shame. The owners n staff were SO KIND, so incredibly understanding and forgiving, we were absolutely white faced with stupidity n horror at our idiocy. I pray that someone turned them in after we left, while our heads were bowed and we stomped on our lower lips. Plus. Another horrendous faux paus. As the sweetest, cutest, most delightful lady, the queen of all wonderfully kind, smart n witty hostesses attempted to refill hubbys wine glass —- he freaking MOVED IT! Like for real. No joke. She started to pour the wine into his glass n he suddenly, without rhythm, reason or cause, simply pulled it away. She innocently continued to pour at the suddenly removed glass. The red wine went everywhere. Hubby had no clue. He thot she was going to put white into his red. She was NOT! As she poured red into red —- he effn MOVED HIS GLASS!!!! Hell almighty. Wine went everywhere. We were all positively incredulous. This was NOT in any way her fault. I blame the exquisitely delightful wine tours earlier in the day. Hubby had too much wine. Then he created a mess. Please accept our most humble n humiliating apologies. Lord have mercy. Nevertheless. We were treated with delightful warmth and respect! We did not deserve it! This place is positively heaven on earth. Go there! Ten star all the way!

Oh my gosh! Where to begin, the glorious robes, the incredible breakfast, the romantic suites, the amazing hospitality or the delicious wine hour…What an incredible experience and stay! From the moment we arrived we are met with a warm greeting from staff member Loreena and gorgeous truffles! It was my birthday, 1801 Luxury inn made sure it did not go unrecognized, I felt so special when they made sure I had a cake! Such care and detail! Loreena walked us to our incredible, quiet and romantic Suite The Amica Dolcetto! It was so welcoming and spacious, with a large bathtub and fainting couch. The windows let in the most perfect breeze and by nightfall my husband and I curled up by the fire place. It was so quiet and serene, just magical. We wanted to explore Napa, but quite honestly we were so happy just to relax at the inn because it felt so much like a home you wanted to be in! We had the MOST INCREDIBLE breakfast! Carrie was so kind, she was very attentive to every need and want. She explained the chef had made up our breakfast along with homemade scones! It was the BEST, WARM and tasty breakfast I’d ever had! Blaine came out to tell us where all the finest wineries were so we set our itinerary based off his recommendations and were not disappointed!! 1801 also features a complimentary wine hour, Laura greeted us with a smiles and poured us a lovely glass of wine while able to make new friends with other guests! At night we went to their garden romantically lite and calming fountain, the night air was perfect. Their location is unbeatable, next to so many restaurants and the beautiful lake front is in walking distance! I would recommend staying here to all of my family and friends!! We loved our stay and were treat just like family! Thank you to the team of 1801 we will be staying with you again!!

I'd give 1801 First Luxury Inn 10 stars if I could. My husband and I spent five nights there on our recent trip to Napa Valley. Innkeepers Carrie and her husband, Blair, were gracious and welcoming. Breakfast each morning was delicious. There was always a selection of three entrees, and the meal started with fresh fruit and a small baked item. Portion sizes were perfect. It was a great way to start each day. We stayed in the Carriage House of this historic inn and loved it. The room was spacious, clean, and nicely decorated. The gas fireplace was two-sided so we could enjoy it from the bedroom or the two-person Jacuzzi tub in the bathroom. The inn has a secluded garden sitting area in the back, which was perfect for enjoying morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. Downtown Napa is a 5-minute walk from the Inn, so we were able to walk to restaurants and stores. We'd go back to 1801 First Luxury Inn in a heartbeat.
