Residenza Flegrea

The manager of the set of flats Danielle is very helpful and the only person we dealt with apart from a staff memebr in a n office but the 7 days there were pretty horrible. 1st floor one bed apartment was renovated to a cheap standard. Outside high rise blocks meant minimal natural light, and a security light shone into the bedroom constantly through a net curtain. We couldn't get the heating in the evening to work but the a/c on cold during the day was excellent, the safe had no instructions, and the matress was so poor I had to use a pull out bed with only a thin duvet.....the couch itself was drearful! The absolute worst thing was the block is 50 meters from a road tunnel.....see picture. The noise is horrendous at all times so the windows cannot be opened ....it's really that bad! If you are used to noise from other residents eg children screaming and dogs barking you'll feel right at home.The block has motor cycle/tyre shops and garagers/petrol station outside. The whole area is an awful place to stay, totally residential, run down, with no good places to eat....if you love ordinary carry outs you'll be happy though. NEVER AGAIN!
