I highly recommend not staying at this hotel. The photos on their website do not reflect the state of the hotel. The pool and hot tub are green, slimy and half way full (with no sign indicating it was closed or anything). The elevator didn’t work (with no out of order sign). The couch in my room had a giant stain on the seat. The air conditioning was out in the lobby and hallways. Barely any cars were there, so it seemed like a ghost town. I did not feel completely safe or clean. One perk is that I learned to read reviews before booking a hotel!

Where do I start! We were booked here via travel company. On arrival didn’t seem like anyone was staying! car park had a couple of work mens trucks then us. It smelt old and closed up in the check in area. We were given our room headed down the corridor with minimal lighting and poor air conditioning. Proceeded to our room to be greeted with a continuous beeping from the smoke detector in the seating area. Then in the bedroom area the smoke detector was on the floor with the wires hanging out of the unit base. Returned to check in! Was given another room on the same floor. That wasn’t much better. The fridge was fit for the tip! The safe had Old batteries in it which leaked into the safe!!! The smoke detector wasn’t even there in this room. Went to phone reception for soap and towels etc only to find there wasn’t even a wire connecting the phone! Alarm bells ring bigtime! Bar, restaurant was closed. Where do I start with the swimming pool 🤢 Or shall I say swamp!!!!!!! This hotel should not be open for business! We wanted to leave there and then but it’s was late!! First thing in the morning we left asap and booked into another hotel. Travel company are now aware, we are awaiting feedback 🤔

the bed was hard and rust everywhere. Do not even go to the pool area. Green slime in the pool and jacuzzi. Very Green. Front lobby was very hot and the person in the front was never there. i have to ask for a Blow Dryer because there was not dryer in the room. I also had to ask for more towels.

Allez ailleurs.

I will preface this review with the fact that I stay in hotels roughly ~115 days per year with a mix between all US brands. (I have Platinum Elite status with Choice Hotels.) This is by far the worst hotel I have stayed at in the last 6+ years, to include internationally, in second and third world countries. I very rarely leave a review but in this case, I felt the need to conduct a review. I did not bother to provide this information to the hotel staff nor ask for or provide them an opportunity to offer compensation or even change the room. Based on feedback from the other individuals in my group, their rooms were in a very similar condition. Some of them slept in their clothes on top of the beds due to the poor conditions and appearance of unclean rooms. The room was extremely run down and the bathroom was disgusting. Honestly, if I had the opportunity and time that night, I would have just left and stayed somewhere else. (I have photos for proof of the following). The shower/tub had a massive hairball on the drain indicating the room had not been cleaned and there were large brown streak marks in the tub. Although it appeared that someone had defecated in the tub, it was actually rust because I attempted to wipe and clean the tub prior to taking a shower. I used toilet paper to pick up the hair so there is no excuse or reason for it to have been there if the room had been properly cleaned. My wife was so uncomfortable with the unsanitary conditions that she placed a towel down in the tub in order to keep her feet clean while in the shower. Everything metal in the room was rusted, some to the point there was no shine/coating left, including all the lamps, the towel/linen racks, and base of the doors. The bathroom counter was clearly unfinished and just added to the overall extremely poor condition of the room. The smoke detector was removed from the wall and there were exposed wires and a large hole. It seemed so out of place, and based on the totality of the circumstances, I climbed on the bed and used a phone flashlight to check for any "devices." There was a significant amount of, what appeared to be, candle wax dripped on the carpet around the end of the bed. The A/C unit was extremely loud and had a constant loud buzzing noise (whistle), although it was able to keep the room at a comfortable temperature. The staff was nice enough but upon arrival, I did have to wait, saying hello a couple times, walking and wandering around the lobby and storage room areas, finally locating an employee who could check us in. I was completely and utterly disappointed with my accommodations. I genuinely hope my review is taken seriously and major actions are taken to improve the experience for future guests. I come to the area annually and I will never stay at this property again, and frankly it makes me question the Choice brand in its entirety.

Yes the hotel needs work but it was nice and the staff were great. My husband and I really enjoyed our room we didn't have any bad issues. I hope our next visit the restaurant is open.We did enjoy the music playing in the lobby and our view of the river was 👍

When I arrived in my room, I found a container of Damp Rid. The bathtub had mold on the walls and roach droppings in the tub. The bed was well used and so were the pillows. There was dust on the run and counter. This was one of the most disgusting places I have stayed at in a while.

I want to give an honest opinion. I read several reviews regarding the cleanliness of the hotel and the rooms before I arrived. I expected what the pictures showed, however, I think I have a more positive review. I checked the bedsheets and bedspread, both are clean. I checked the countertops, and all had been wiped down. The only problems we ran into was 2 lightbulbs being out, one in the bathroom and one as soon as you walk in the room. The microwave is older but it seemed fine. The bathroom was wiped, HOWEVER, the toilet seat was not. The shower is just older with some hard water stains on the faucet. The floor of the shower is peeling, like pieces of a shower mat. That was my only genuine concern, but otherwise it seemed clean. I can’t say it’s the best, and maybe it is just the room I got, but it is not as dreadful as the previous reviews make it seem. The young lady at the front was kind. It’s not “bad” but is in desperate need of some serious TLC.
