Jetwing Thalahena Villas

The villa is large, spacious and ideal for a quiet and relaxing stay. The environment is quiet and has a very relaxing atmosphere. Food, which has to be ordered a la carte is provided by the Jetwing Lagoon across the street. There was a very decent spread and the quality was good. While there are two smaller bedrooms on the lower floor, when booking via the Jetwing website the default option is the master bedroom on the upper floor - and it comes with a spacious living room that opens up to the private pool and the beach. The bathroom in the master bedroom is vast and has a large tub as well. The service provided by our butler, Mahinda was excellent. The Air conditioning unit though is quite old and noisy and I recommend that gets updated. Overall a pleasant experience.

Me and my partner stayed in the Master room with plunge pool in the villa. All in all it was a lovely concept. The room was clean, spacious and very cozy. The bathroom was big, clean and well equipped with the basic requirements. Loved the plunge pool since it was a proper plunge pool with a comfortable water level. Few suggestions- If possible try to put a half shade roof/ cover over the pool since its abit uncomfortable when its too sunny. Also please do check the wood area near the shower since few wooden strips were moving and not stable. The blinds to be replaced i guess since it look abit old. Food - Lagoon food can do better if they add more variety and flavour. Apart from above, our butler, Puraka was outstanding! He was taking care of us all along, so helpful, kind, always with a bright smile and did his job way better than we expected. We personally think he should be rewarded since every review was about him and we would definitely come back cz of the villa and for his excellent service. Further, it was my partner's bday and Puraka had arranged a decor eventhough it was notified by me at the last moment. We had a lovely stay and enjoyed it very much!

I found the customer service very good in the hotel and if we talk about the environment, it is a very natural and attractive hotel. I will say again that it is a hotel with the best customer service.

We stayed one night in Master Room, with private pool, living and dining area, jacuzzi and more. We enjoyed many of these facilities that Jetwing Thalahena Villas provides us. We had a wonderful experience at there. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Excellent property and very convenient to access. The vintage aesthetics were awesome. We decided to have our meals from Jetwing Lagoon, food was delicious and the staff was helpful. Beside the staff of Jetwing Lagoon, Butler at the Jetwing Thalahena Villas, Mr. Pooraka was so pleasant with great attitude. Helpful, and always available. We were impressed by his professionalism on display during our stay. Thank you for your service and keep it up. Everything was great as we expected. We would definitely stay there again.

Thalahena Villa is an exceptional haven of privacy situated in Negombo, right by the beach (though it's important to mention that the beach itself may not offer picturesque views). Conveniently located opposite Jetwing Lagoon, this villa provides a tranquil atmosphere, making it an ideal choice for a romantic getaway. The dining experience was good, and our stay went above and beyond our service expectations, all thanks to the dedicated personal butler, "Puraka." We wholeheartedly commend "Puraka" for his exceptional service, as he genuinely understands the desires of guests seeking privacy and serenity.

It's a really nice private villa with a private pool & very spacious living area with the ocean view. Buffet was at Jetwing Lagoon just opposite to the villa with Lagoon view. Definitely have to mention Butler Pooraka who provided us an outstanding service. He ensured that we were cared very well. He has gone past the important mission at hand, to ensure that our visit at the villa is a generally vital one.

It was a night out with the Friends. A very nice private place with a big pool with the ocean view. Food was provided by the Jetwing Lagoon next door and they were amazing. But what top it all that was the excellent service provided by the Butler Pooraka. He made sure that we were looked after very well. He has gone beyond the call of duty, to make sure that our stay at the Villa is a most memorable one.
