Our last day in Sri Lanka and we thought it would be a waste of precious time to stay in a hotel all day !! Absolutely not ! From our welcome, attentive and informative staff, Kapila was particularly brilliant as he helped navigate through a superior menu which included the best Cerviche we've ever eaten, so again at lunch it was ! A wonderful Spa experience followed by a stroll round the gardens, up through the veggie garden and met the three long eared goats Garden and interior design, plus interesting artwork, was a visual delight. This is a provocative hotel Jetwing as Bawa's old partner Let the hotel maintain its original appearance as much as possible over a long period of time For those who love Bawa, this is undoubtedly an extremely beautiful and touching hotel The location of the hotel is also extremely beautiful, with the lagoon on one side and the Indian Ocean on the other. But for ordinary travelers, it will appear to be very low value for money, everything is so old, and there is no modern sophistication. If you will come to Sri Lanka again Will definitely come back to jetwing lagoon

Very good hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel grounds and the rooms were very well maintained. The food in the restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced (lunch and dinner). The free transfer was excellent, journey time about 15 minutes. I will definitely come back. Thank you to the friendly staff.

Хозяин отеля - чудесный человек. Он помогал нам со всем, с чем бы мы к нему ни обратились! Где нам поменять деньги? Он поменял (и по выгодному курсу!). Где нам арендовать мопед? И с этим помог. Организовал трансфер до аэропорта на тук-туке. Очень приятная зеленая территория. Хороший вкусный завтрак (рисовая каша, фрукты, омлет, тосты с маслом и джемом, чай). Современный номер со всем необходимым. Будем еще раз на Шри-Ланке - обязательно вернемся к такому гостеприимному человеку!

Stayed with my Family from 30th April , 2 nights , the rooms are clean and well maintained , the staff Mr Silva and Mr Kingsley are very prompt and helpfull in their service , location is also very close to the beach , nice restaurants nearby , especially TORO AND SEAVIEW

We had an amazing holiday in this beautiful resort. Staff were so helpful and friendly. Room was well equipped and comfortable with all the amenities. Nice sea view rooms. This is the best place in negambo if you search a relaxing holiday. Pool and surroundings are amazing. Restaurant staff were friendly and always with a smile. Special thank to chathuranga. This was my third stay at the Goldi Sands, honestly, the last time was nearly 20 years ago but I had such a great time back then I had high expectations. In the intervening 20 years, the hotel has had a revamp, double the size, double the number of swimming pools, added an elevator and they've removed the beach-fronted bungalows. All of which I think was a smart move and well worth doing. What has changed is the service and the catering. The staff are of course all very polite just that they didn't go the extra mile like they used to. We arrived late as our flight had been delayed, all I wanted was a couple of bottles of beer, they did arrive but I almost had to beg. I booked a taxi to the airport with the front desk, but they forgot, the waitresses at dinner were all about the hard upsell rather than serving. The breakfast as far as my memory serves me used to be awesome, today's breakfast is the same every day and lacks imagination, is poorly presented, and includes the worst coffee ever. The hotel has a confusing number of tariffs from all-inclusive to room only which means if you want to buy a drink it takes forever as they have to check your ”status” and then if you pay cash they have to go to the cashier as they carry no float. The rooms are a good size, clean and comfortable but basic. All in all it is still a good hotel to choose but sadly it is no longer in the memorable category.

Clingy dogs, friendly Sri Lankans, delicious seafood, and we were automatically upgraded to a room type. However, some waiters have the bad habit of asking for tips, so it is recommended to carry the suitcase yourself. Jetwing Sea is more affordable than Beach Blue, and is slightly one kilometer further than the bustling neighborhood.

Sensational and Amaizing Location for our Wedding shoot and Honeymoon. Appreciate friendly and personal service.All staff were all very friendly and helpful and no request for assistance was a problem for them. The hotel is well situated, being close to beach and Gin oya river. and location is marvelous. We would definitely hope to stay there again. And also,we would like to Thanks Mr.Dhanushka,Ms.Sanduni,Ms.Thakshila and Ms.Ishali and also, Trainee Mr.Ishan who is a handsome boy welcoming us at our checked-in.
