The outlets and the lights save for the ceiling lights worked. The staff was nice and moved me next door but the room must be on the same circuit board because it had the same issues. Room was very dreary and extremely dark. Probably won’t stay here again.

The important point of cleanliness was met. Staff was courteous. BUT, I will never stay here again due to the lack of notice about the parking situation. It cost $50 to park vs $35 because the process was very unclear. In addition, there was no water in the lobby and we had to BUY OUR COFFEE. Shame on the owners of this establishment.

Don’t stay in the Lafayette section. It’s a good little hike from the lobby!

The room was great, the hotel was charming. We did not take advantage of any of the daily amenity fee items other than brief times on the wireless network. There was also an additional $100 security deposit collected at check in. Housekeeping was very efficient and attentive.
The mini bar is almost overstocked, but there was no coffee pot in the room, no microwave and no coffee in the lobby, There is a very limited breakfast service after 07:30am, but nothing later in the day.
There are several good places for dinner and one for breakfast within a couple of blocks walk.
We enjoyed most of the experience, but probably will not stay there on our next trip.

Overall great experience - hotel was eclectic in the best way - only complaint was the lack of coffee - none in the room and had to pay for it in the lobby area. Otherwise it was wonderful and beautiful.
