We’ve never stayed at a four seasons property, but my husband and I decided to book for a staycation. The foot traffic through this hotel was unbelievable and the service was sub par for the most part. My husbands luggage didn’t arrive in our room, we couldn’t enjoy the pool due to cleaning in the middle of the day, and our AC leaked through the ceiling in our closet, nearly flooding my work bag with laptop/other valuables. Mind you this was an upgraded suite we paid additionally for at check in. I think at the end of the day it’s a lack of adequate training and staff to meet the standard I think this brand is known for. We’re staying at the four seasons surf club in December so we might have a different opinion on the chain after that property. I don’t know how this hotel will make it. They need to up the exclusivity for guests, otherwise you just feel like you’re staying at the Hilton across the street.

I’ve stayed at Four Seasons hotels from George V in Paris to the Four Season Orlando. Can’t say I’ve ever had a bad experience until the New Orleans Four Seasons. No bellman to grab our bags. Well there was one but he watched us drag our suitcases around without even offering to take them. Bad bartender service at the lobby bar. My suite itself was fine. Other than that they are either understaffed or not up to the same training as other Four Seasons. If there’s an upside it was by far the least expensive per night of any Four Seasons. Guess I know why now.

This hotel is pristine with stellar customer service! I visited Chemin a la mer every evening for dinner and it was amazing! The spa was nothing short of perfection and the pool had the BEST drinks!

I am a loyal client of the Four Seasons and if you are looking for luxury and great service at their NOLA location try maybe the Ritz. The service is on par with a Motel 8 probably worst. The staff desperately need training. I went to check out in the morning I was told by the Director of Rooms Ella Coons the system was down, I then said I’ll go on my tour leave my bags and when I return I’ll check out no worries. I returned and was served by Ciara omg the most condescending arrogant flippant woman I’ve met at a front desk. As I was going over the charges my daughter asked if she could collect my bags as I perused my bill. Ciara then said no she can’t give us our bags until we have settled the bill as per the instructions of Ms Coon. I was surprised because yes there is a cc on file as is required upon check in so to be honest I could’ve just left and the hotel would’ve been able to get whatever funds I had for them. This was so unsettling for me and the height of unprofessional who can rob the four seasons who has ALL my info and who I’ve stayed with for years. I rarely do reviews but this one was needed I’ll be contacting corporate as well so that this isn’t done to another family and yes I feel it was intentional

Attention to detail is apparent throughout. Rooms are quiet, quality of materials makes everything feel better when using. Very good experience. Would definitely stay there again.
Location is close enough to everything to walk but just off thr busies area enough as not to be bothered by the masses.
