Loews New Orleans Hotel

Downtown New Orleans
Firstly the best thing about this hotel is the people - from the minute we arrived, they were welcoming and friendly. The concierge was so helpful in booking trips for us along with other staff who suggested restaurants, directions etc. We chose breakfast in the hotel on one day which was OK and so decided to have breakfast another day as we were leaving on a trip and it seemed the obvious option; turns out they don't do breakfasts everyday which was not well advertised - and a little strange!! Anyway one of the cleaners clearly saw our confusion so suggested ”Mothers” diner across the road which was brilliant actually - the best pancakes we had in our entire trip in the States. Likewise the bar tender at the bar/restaurant is excellent. The only downside was that the hotel itself is a little tired and could do with some refurbishment and updating. Our room was lovely in terms of size and the bed was really comfy but some of the furniture was a little tarnished, the carpet somewhat dirty and the walls could do with a paint. But other than that, a good stay.
Hyatt Regency New Orleans

There is really nothing to say about the hotel. During the epidemic, it is not only cheap but also has fewer people! The neighborhood is also very close to French Street, and there are delicious oysters, ACME restaurant is recommended, the seafood is really delicious!
Hotel Peter and Paul
4.6/5102 Reviews
Faubourg Marigny
We recently had the pleasure of staying at Hôtel Peter and Paul in New Orleans and overall, it was a delightful experience. The interior of the hotel exudes a captivating charm, blending historic architecture with modern comfort seamlessly. The attention to detail in the design adds a unique touch to the ambiance. The service at Hôtel Peter and Paul was exceptional, with a staff that was attentive and friendly. They went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Whether it was providing local recommendations or promptly addressing any concerns, the staff's dedication to guest satisfaction was evident. While the overall experience was positive, I did encounter a minor hiccup with the housekeeping service. It wasn't as thorough as I would have expected, and some details were overlooked. However, this didn't overshadow the other positive aspects of the stay. In conclusion, Hôtel Peter and Paul offers a charming and unique retreat in the heart of New Orleans. The impressive interior and outstanding service make it a memorable choice for those seeking a distinctive and comfortable stay in this vibrant city.
Hyatt Centric French Quarter New Orleans
4.2/5103 Reviews
Canal Street
Hotel is convenient to anything in the French Quarter and easy walking distance to many attractions. Some noise from a few streets during the night in the early morning hours, but still not bad. The hotel is lovely and clean. The room we had was a king suite and it had plenty of room to relax. The bed slept fabulous.
New Orleans Marriott

Canal Street
We booked the hotel seeing that it had 4 stars, there was a pool and the amenities list said there was an oven and microwave for the room. I can tell you that when we got there we were definitely surprised and not in a good way. The pool was closed even though they put a sign on the door thanking people for staying 6 ft apart. I don’t understand how you can be 6 ft apart if you can’t even go into the pool area, let alone the pool itself. Another reason we were extremely unhappy was because we had brought frozen food expecting to be able to heat it up and there was no oven, nor a microwave in the room. For a 4 star hotel that is ridiculous! Additionally, the hotel was doing some COVID-19 relief programs which in retrospect is very nice of them due to the fact that New Orleans is a poor area, but they did not let us know about it when we booked the room and the outside the hotel was full of homeless people and others just sitting around smoking and drinking by both doors outside and roaming throughout the lobby. My husband and I were very displeased and even though the hotel was giving them food and water, they created a place where anyone could have definitely caught the virus if they aren’t careful enough or if anyone walking in had it. If we ever go back to New Orleans, we will not be staying there.
Kimpton Hotel Fontenot
4.5/5100 Reviews
Downtown New Orleans
First time at a Kimpton and won’t be the last! Excellent location to all major sights. Check in swift, free beer or water to take to you room which I thought was a nice touch. Room was on the 18th floor and very spacious. The bed and pillows where so comfortable. Peacock bar was lovely with really good cocktails. Also loved the social hour with free wine 5-6 daily and the free tea and coffee in the morning. Loved our stay and would highly recommend.
