OYO Hotel Times Square

I forgot to take pictures of the room. It was clean, but the facilities were old. Times Square was downstairs. Eating, shopping, taking photos, and watching Broadway were all very close. You can also walk to Central Park. It's better to take the bus to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, as it's a long way to go. The New York Public Library is very close.

Since I was traveling alone, safety was the most important thing. Located right in front of Times Square, even late at night after the performance I was able to return home without fear! It's a great location where you can cover most of Midtown's tourist attractions on foot!

The location is excellent, close to Times Square. It is very convenient to walk to the Empire State Building, Grand Central Station, and Grand Central Park. You can smell the ** as soon as you go out. The room is small, so be prepared.

The only bright spot of the hotel in the city center is that it is really close to the square. The rest depends on personal tolerance.

It's very cramped, it couldn't be any smaller, it's almost the same as a guest house in China. Even in New York, the price is still too high, I don't recommend it.

We are retired seniors traveling on our own. We don't speak the language, so the main appeal for choosing a hotel is convenient transportation, so we chose this hotel. Influenced by the bad reviews, we only booked one day at first, and then we wanted to change, but we felt that this hotel was convenient to all places, and the subway entrances in different directions could be walked in basically 3 minutes, so we extended our stay twice. This was a big loss, and we spent a lot of extra accommodation fees. Therefore, we summed up our experience and read the bad reviews. We must consider it according to our own needs and don't be misled by the bad reviews. Specifically speaking, the hotel facilities are equivalent to domestic express hotels. The rooms are not big, there are toiletries, the towels and bath towels are clean, and the bath water is hot and the water flow is large. There is no refrigerator or microwave in the room, but you can ask the front desk and they will deliver it to the room. It is next to Times Square and it is a bit noisy. The room is equipped with earplugs. It is worth mentioning that the service staff are very thoughtful and enthusiastic, and there is also one who can communicate in Chinese.

Although the prices of all hotels in New York are on the high side and there are few rooms, the location is absolutely convenient. It is located in the center of Times Square, so it is very convenient to go anywhere. There are also many choices of restaurants nearby. It would be better if the price could be cheaper. 

It's clean and the location is good.
