Guest Services response was pathetic when I sent them an e-mail inquiring about parking. I was told to call the parking garage directly. When I called the garage nobody answers the phone and no way to leave a voice mail. Because of labor day weekend I wanted to make sure I reserved a parking spot. I had to pay Spot Hero double the price to reserve space. Then when I reached the garage the interaction with the attendant was a nightmare. He could not converse in english and kept telling me to leave, screaming and waving his hands, in spite of showing him the confirmation number. I am baffled why the hotel does not make it a more pleasant experience for the customer. This is like low hanging fruit and an easy to fix problem. Front desk staff was polite and friendly. Room size was adequate, however the property needs to be freshened up. Flooring of the room and the bathroom area was worn out. A/C and room temp could not be controlled. No Coffee maker or ice bucket in the room. Gym/fitness center is old and minimal, but they offer an option in the building nextdoor. Room rates are high, you have to pay for brekafast and parking. There is also a so called ”destination fee” of $25 which has minimal value, if any. I feel there are better options in the City.
Hyatt Centric Times Square New York

Times Square
This is a well appointed hotel, 1 minute walk from Time Square. Great location for local attractions, but also for getting to see the main attractions of Manhattan. As we were staying for 7 nights we upgraded our room and had plenty of space on the 43rd floor. Beds were very comfortable and the whole room clean and pretty well appointed. Hotel also has one of the highest roof-top bars in New York!!
