Lovely clean hotel. Very well positioned off the A1. Breakfast was good in the morning and the restaurant looks as though it has had a facelift completed. Staff at reception were really helpful, special mention to Lisa for being so friendly and helping with our bags to our room, and for sharing local knowledge of local restaurants. And to Jane for being so helpful at breakfast time answering our questions efficiently . Thank you ladies

January and her Team always make me feel very welcome. I have been a frequent guest in recent months and have found the experience very satisfying. I would recommend the Deincourt to other business travellers as it is in an ideal location for access to the surrounding areas and transport links, as well was being within very short walking distance to all the amenities Newark offers. Parking is never an issue, and staff are always on hand to resolve any issues. There is a personal touch that other hotels often lack and the food is of a good standard and very reasonably priced. Am happy to continue to stay here whenever I work in Newark!

We stayed here for a weekend while working at an exhibition at the nearby Newark showground. All I can say is that the concept is excellent. Self-contained, self-catering, fuss-free accommodation that has everything you need. I was concerned about the contactless method of obtaining entry to the property but this was all very smooth and worked well. I had a minor problem and had to contact Daniel by phone and he solved my issue very efficiently and professionally all in a courteous and professional way, I would heartily recommend The Plough Retreat
