Porth Beach Hotel

1st uk holiday for 33 years.Could not have chosen a better place to stay.Anj and all staff made us feel welcome.The breakfast ,evening meals are . Rooms have everything you need for your stay.Hope to visit again later in the year.Thankyou all

We normally stay in a hotel in Newquay, but came across the Porth Beach Hotel and decided to give it a try! This is a small family run hotel, a very short distance from the lovely sandy Porth Beach. First impressions were good, with the slightly laid back check in process. Our room was at the rear, but was immaculate, (in fact the whole hotel was) with a very comfortable king bed, nice bedding and lovely large towels. There was a fridge, which unfortunately was not working too well, but a well stocked mini bar (which we didn’t use🤣) My only slight criticism with the room was the sound proofing. Virtually no outside noise, but we could hear talking and tv noise from other rooms. Our favourite spot was definitely on the cocktail terrace, overlooking the beach, made even better by the nice weather😎 The food quality served for both breakfast and dinner was excellent. Anj’s fish and chips and the Mac ‘n cheese were particular winners👍 To top it all, the staff from start to finish were very friendly and helpful. A credit to the hotel for sure. We will be back👍

2nd stay here, This time for 2 nights. We love this place, the owners are so nice & make you feel very welcome. We had room 10 which was lovely. large balcony with sun loungers which we where lucky to enjoy in the nice weather. We will def be back. Breakfast is fab

As Porth locals we frequently visit the Porth Beach Hotel for drinks on the terrace or in the gorgeous bar area. We visited today for our first meal and it was absolutely delicious. We feel very lucky to have this on our doorstep as a ‘local’. The hotel has a beautiful stylish boutique vibe with stunning views across Porth Island and the beach. There’s always chilled music playing in the background and staff and owners are so welcoming and friendly, always happy to chat. It’s a gem of a place and we can’t wait to pop in and try the buffet breakfast! x

This hotel was perfect in every way - wonderful host and staff- very friendly Most amazing breakfasts- truly lovely - lots of nice details and decor For a couples weekend away walking the Coastal Path this hotel was a delight to rest and enjoy

Myself and my husband had a long weekend here recently and had a really lovely time the couple that own it were so well from the time we arrived to the time we left breakfast was amazing had an evening meal which was excellent, rooms were excellent very clean and tidy all in all we had a lovely weekend xx

We were made welcome from the moment we arrived, our room was lovely and spacious, the breakfast was first class,and the young waitress was excellent, the views are amazing looking out over the beach and sea. Thank you Anj for a great Stay and will definitely stay again.

If we could give more than 5 stars to Porth Beach Hotel then we would! We couldn’t fault one thing about our stay! The room, breakfast, location… everything was perfect! Thank you to Anj and her team! She was so warm, welcoming and genuine and always made herself available! Would 110% return!

Ang and all her staff were amazing and went out of their way to make sure i had everything i needed. Super friendly and as a solo traveller thats important to me. I felt very much at home and safe. The hotel is beautifully and very thoughtfully decorated and the room has everything you could want and need and was really big. Even had a mini sofa and still had plenty of room. Room 5, overlooking the garden. The rainforest shower and bath were just what i needed after walking all day. Dressing gown and slippers a lovely added extra along with the mini bar and biscuits. The hotel is situated right next to the beach and there are walks straight from the front door. Bus stop 3 min walk away, perfect. Ample parking. The restaurant and bar was welcoming and I happily sat on my own with a glass of wine and chilled. The breakfast was delicious with local ingredients and so was my evening meal. Freshly cooked and tasty. Will def return. Thank you for a lovely relaxing 3 days ..... see you soon
