Fairways Guest House

We were placed on the 3rd floor even though it wasn’t busy. The carpet is filthy around the edges. In the room. The room is very small. There is no regular plug in the bathroom. Because there is no plug in the bathroom the space heater could not be plugged in in there. The bathroom was very cold for a shower.The water pressure is very low, there is no place to lay out 2 suitcases. The internet works intermittently. For just a little more you can do better elsewhere

Small Guest House close to the town centre. It's all a little tired I'm afraid. Jo the host is charming and very helpful. My room was basic with a small separate shower which had seen better days. Bed was comfy and I slept well. Not sure if they do breakfast as I was out of season. It just needs a massive update.

A little beauty... I was recommended this guest house as I was running out of options to spend a couple of nights before I headed back to London. Jo is an amazing and friendly host and nothing was too much trouble. Rooms are basic but spotless and the beds a very comfy. Separate bathroom with a good shower. I stayed in room 8 at the back with a sea view. 5 minute walk into town and supermarkets also close. It was soooooooo quiet. Thank you Jo.

A little bit of home. Fairways Guest house is so welcoming with a homely feel. The host is so friendly, helpful and accommodating. The rooms are very clean and airy, with an incredibly warm comfortable bed. The bedding and towels are spotlessly clean along with the ensuite bathroom. The guest house is in a perfect location for town and the bus station. I will definitely be returning.

Nowhere to park on road, misrepresented. Room tiny and not fit for a couple. Bathroom tiny no privacy door kept jamming and too close for comfort. Sea view questionable. Tv not working. Booked for 6 nights stayed, only one with no refund offered.

The view from the window was breathtaking and the location is really convenient. Joanne was as kind as you expect your landlady to be. The Guest House doesn't serve breakfasts in the dining room. It's possible to buy them and have them delivered to your room but as the room is rather small we decided that it was a better idea to have our breakfasts in the Towan Blystra pub which is 10 minutes walk from the Guest House and serves decent food much cheaper.

Lovely stay in Newquay, very accessible from the town centre and beaches and a very accomodating and friendly place to stay. Would definitely recommend for two people or on your own - Jo was lovely and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. Much nicer than many Newquay hotels since it is out of the way of the rush and nightlife of the highstreet but still a very short distance from the highstreet. Thank you!
