Des bungalow/tente dans les arbres. Un confort et une decoration extraordinaire. Magnifique. De plus les repas et petit dejeuner sont incroyables. Le boat cruise top !!!

A fantastic location with constructions above the River with hipos bamboos and other animals passing in frond beside and under! Very polite service , fantastic dinner due to the german lady chef Τhe offer to the local community is also remarkable as the hotel sels local handicrafts to help their income

Ein Highlight auf unser zweiwöchigen Tour! Camp Kwando liegt malerisch am Kwando River und unsere gut eingerichteten Zelte (Moskitonetze, Deckenventilator) waren direkt am Fluss, mit einer kleinen Holzterrasse direkt am Fluss mit super Blick. Wir hatten sogar ein "eigenes" Hippo direkt vor unserer Terrasse, magisch! Zur Lodge gehört ein schöner kleiner Pool mit einigen Liegen und ausreichend Schatten. Nachmittags spielen hier die Affen, da muss man ein Auge auf seine Sachen haben! Aufgrund der Trockenheit war der Wasserstand im Fluss sehr niedrig, so dass keine Bootsfahrten angeboten wurden, aber wir buchten eine Pirschfahrt im nahen Nationalpark und die war richtig klasse, sehr zu empfehlen. Ganz großes Kino war das Essen, welches jeden Abend mit köstlichen selbstgebackenen Brötchen anfing und dann aus drei ausgezeichneten Gängen bestand. Der Service war nicht nur gut, sondern einfach herzlich und zugewandt. Die Dame des Hauses kam an jeden Tisch, um sicherzustellen, dass alles in Ordnung war. Man merkte sofort, dass ihre eigene warme und herzliche Art auf die gesamte Lodge mit allen Angestellten ausstrahlte. Nach dem Essen wird man von Rangern zurück zum Zelt gebracht, weil es ein Hippo gibt, welches ins Camp kommt. Wir haben es leider nur im Wasser gesehen, aber man kann nicht alles haben. Fazit: Volle Empfehlung, schöner kann man zwei Nächte im Caprivi kaum verbringen!

We stayed over only one night and what a pleasure. The upmarket tent-on-stilts accommodation was very good with everything you need for non-self catering. Our unit looked down on to the narrow river 20mt away with good shade. There is no aircon as they are a "green" facility but a good fan is provided. The restaurant food for both breakfast and dinner was excellent and eating on the deck in the evening was 5 star. There is a lovely grassed garden that was taking some strain during a very dry period, a pool and lounge chairs. Personally we found it to be above our budget as it is not cheap, but that was just our thoughts.

sehr schön am Fluss gelegen, große Campsites mit Wasser, Strom und Toiletten. Leider gab es keine Bar oder Restaurant, wie es bei Ihnen angekündigt wird. Wir mussten dann nochmal einkaufen fahren, da wir damit gerechnet hatten.

One night camping at Bush Camp Kwando. The place is difficult a bit to find, road signs should be improved. The place is beautiful. Each campsite has a vast space and privacy. Roofless individual ablution facilities are charming and well maintained. Everything helps to recover after a long drive.

During a 22 day camping tour of Namibia & Botswana, this was my favourite campground. It is very remote with basic amenities (no restaurant or shop) but each individual camp site is enormous, private and has individual ablutions and shaded cooking area with hot water and electricity, all positioned right on the river. For bird photography it was perfect with Kingfishers, Bee-eaters and Otters a few feet from my tent. Warning: I was there in October when the river level was very low so I couldn’t access by boat, but this did not spoil my experience.

We stayed at the campsite and enjoyed every minute of it. We were lucky and had the pool at the Mad Max Bar for our own. We had a blast!
