The hotel Villa Rose is charming and delightful. The decor is interesting and cheerful. It is spotlessly clean. It has a lovely little garden that is full of character and great to sit in for breakfast or a glass of wine before dinner. We chose it because it is near the Chagall Museum and the Matisse Museum that we wanted to visit. When there we had a problem with a cancelled train and Son was wonderful at sorting it for us. He has a real 'can do' mentality and it was no sooner said than done. Without him it would have been a major stress. It is a small business that cares which was a really refreshing change from the big businesses like Easy Jet and SNCf which were on strike and cancelled flights. We would definitely stay there again. Thank you!

The tram station is just a few minutes away, providing excellent access to the center of Nice. There is a large supermarket in the back and there is no problem in procuring food. Self-cooking utensils are fully equipped for apartment system. It's a pity that the hair dryer in the room was broken and couldn't be used.

At 200 meters from the tram stop with good connection to the center. Bakery and supermarket nearby. Spacious apartment with good air conditioning, modern bathroom, bedroom with good bed and cozy living room. Garage under the building, difficult entrance.

Nice was crazy expensive. We found this hotel though. We paid 400 for 4 nights. This hotel is on the tram line. Big room and get a balcony. Supermarkets within 2 mins walk. Its not on the promenade or in the old town . 1.50 EUR on the tram and 10 mins later I'm right in the tourist area. It was sooo hot and the room had good air con. No complaints with this hotel. Wish they had a fridge in room but bough ice in local market.

Fantastic hotel - great location; Nice Ville station is a 3 min walk away for day trips to Villefranche-Sur-Mer, Monaco, Ventimiglia and the tram is nearby to traverse Nice and the Old Town. Plenty of shops, cafes, ice-cream parlours nearby and the Jean-Medecin route towards the beach is only a 20 minute walk (or 30 mins if you go slow!). The hotel has a chilled-out jazz retro feeling - jazz musicians pictured on the wall and you can hear saxaphone in the morning going down the staircase. Wonderful ambience and there is a cute garden at the back to do a DIY picnic. Rooms are very clean and air conditioned - compact, but fine to chill out in as well. However, the greatest aspect is how kind and wonderful everyone at Hotel Parisien is - I was ill through most of the trip with flu and Salim and team were great; housekeeping did not disturb when I had to stay in bed and Salim offered tea, fruit and to help - a lovely, kind hearted man who does everything he can to make guests feel comfortable... Salim is simply the best. Amazing people, great place - warm, kind and fun :)
