We discovered a wonderful gem in this hotel. It is comfortable, extremely clean and very conveniently located with trams and buses a few minutes walk away. At the front of the property is a beautifully maintained 'tropical garden' with palm trees, lemon trees etc. where breakfast is served each day and there are tables and chairs to sit out and relax in this beautiful and tranquil surround. The owners are extremely helpful and friendly. We were helped with luggage and on our first morning given useful information about the local area, transport, restaurant suggestions, maps etc. The owners work so hard each day and this is reflected in the quality of the hotel and the hospitality. The rooms were cleaned each day to a very high standard. Absolutely missed this place since checking out last week. I would definitely stay again if visiting Nice and highly recommend. If you're on a budget and content with simplicity, then this is your pad while visiting Nice. I stayed for 5 nights as a tourist and didn't place my expectations too high, so I was satisfied and spending little money fit my needs rather than staying at a fancy or luxurious hotel. Mind you: this is not a hotel so housekeeping (cleaning, change of sheets and towels) is done only once a week (or not at all if you stay for less). There was everything I needed in this small room: a comfy bed, a desk with chair and small TV (French channels only), a small wardrobe, shower with toilet and sink, small cooking facility (crockery, microwave, sink, stove), a small table. The cutlery was rather shabby and primitive though, and the bathroom smelly. The first three floors were under refurbishment so there is hope for improvement. I must say the staff is very friendly and helpful, always cheerful. I wanted a kettle as well as a a lid for the pot (it seems it was missing) and I was given both immediately upon request. What I liked most is that the Appart'City is located literally around the block of a main bus station hub, and just a minute walk from the metro station Vauban. Nice is not very large so you can cover most of it by foot. It took me a pleasant 25 min. stroll to the port and beach, and likewise to the town centre. I still found it expensive considering that I chose one of the cheaper options around this area... but that's France for you, and a tourist destination at the beginning of June, no less!

Don’t stay at this hotel if you want to get some rest. There is a restaurant downstairs so people will be coming after midnight and talking loudly. You will be hearing cars throughout the night. In terms of cleanliness it was ok. The room was a bit small. Not the worst place to stay for the price. Just a bit loud.

One of the worst hotels I have dealt with. Reservation that was a non cancelable was accidently cancelled. Called hotel within minutes of the cancellation and asked them to reinstate the cancelled reservation. They wanted me to pay again for the two nights in order for it to be reinstated and stated that they can't reinstate cancelled reservation. Horrible CUSTOMER SERIVE AND HORRIBLE INCONSIDERABLE MANAGMENT !!! Booked it through *********** and they were not able to assist with the situation either. This is what is stated on the website, however I was not given this opportunity. Can I cancel or change my dates for a non-refundable booking? Canceling a Non-Refundable booking usually incurs a charge. However, you might have the option to request free cancellation when managing your booking. This sends a request to the property, who may decide to waive your cancellation fee. It's not possible to change dates for a Non-Refundable booking, though it's possible to re-book for your desired dates if your waive fees request is successful.

The rooftop with view and swimming pool is absolutely sublime, it is very pleasant, the staff is very careful and small care, only negative point, the spa is slightly disappointing, The facilities are old, not very well decorated and lighted, it doesn't value the spa, it lacks a jacuzzi but the spa staff is super top, and they make the best massage. The best 5 stars in Nice are in a price-quality-level! And the fact that not being at the sea front, but we are still not far from 10 minutes walk and the ballade is very nice, is really offset by the rooftop that is the best point of the hotel.

We spent two nights in this hotel in a junior suite with a sea view. Our room was spacious and had a balcony overlooking the Promenade des Anglais that was just big enough for a bistro table and two chairs. The hotel had an old world charm about it that was particularly enjoyable but the rooms, the amenities, etc. were all modern and comfortable. Everyone we met was helpful and friendly. The breakfasts we had were very good as was the dinner in Le Duc Restaurant that we had on our first evening. We were a bit jet lagged and hungry and ordered their three course meal. The caesar salads we had for the first course were huge (a meal in themselves!) and had nicely done chicken on top. But the desserts we had were totally fantastic: a strawberry charlotte and an amazing fresh pineapple and lemon sorbet. Each evening before dinner we enjoyed a cocktail and an appetizer in The W Bar's glassed in area outside. The Westminster's location is excellent -- just across the street from the Promenade des Anglais and a short walk to the old town and to Castle Hill. There's no question that if in Nice again we would very happily stay here.

We stayed here for our last day in Europe before returning to Canada. The hotel staff were wonderful. We arrived on a Sunday and were given the last room. It turned out to be huge by Europe standards with a balcony. The hotel seems to be recently upgraded. They arranged a driver for a 5 am airport ride. The location is great- right near the old Town a d the scenic beach walk with the legendary blue beach chairs of Nice.
