Art in every corner. There is no better way to describe Le Windsor hotel in Nice. All the hotel's spaces are fantastic, starting with the garden (jungle), a relaxing space to have breakfast, dinner or just enjoy a drink, watching the birds and listening to their song. My room had a unique design, with spectacular natural light. Another highlight is the fantastic location of the hotel, very close to the tramway and only a few minutes walk from Place Massena and the historic city centre. The reception, breakfast and restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. I will come back without hesitation.

We arrived via taxi after a flight down from Paris. The hotel was fully booked between Cannes film festival and People going to see the Monica Grand Prix. Our room was not ready, but we were told we could go to the rooftop for lunch. We did that and proceeded to be ignored by the rooftop staff. We finally corralled someone who said they stopped serving food at 2:30, so we left the hotel to find something else. Later when our room was ready we told the front desk about it and it was news to them. Then when we decided to go back for dinner on the roof, we were told that dinner did not start until 7:00, so they called up and made us reservations. When we arrived at 7:00 the place was packed and the only tables had no view. We asked and were told that people come for drinks starting at 6:00 and just keep their tables when dinner starts. Not ideal. These are very tiny, tight rooms. Typical Europe size. They were quiet rooms. Our air conditioning didn’t work in the room. They offered a fan which helped, but as it got hotter we asked a second time to change rooms and they complied. They did reduce our room rate and comped a meal for us. The staff was very nice and apologetic for the AC issues.

Super well located hotel, for whom comes from the airport metro is 2min from a stop, is also 2min from the margin.

I cannot recommend this hotel especially at the prices they charged. Arrived at 5.30pm and room wasn't ready. They then said it was and gave us a smaller room than we had booked and paid for. When we said so they told us ”Americans have a different idea of what king-sized means”. An hour later they called and agreed we had indeed booked a bigger room and offered to move us to one with a king bed. The man from reception then took us to said room without offering to help us with our luggage. Just stood and watched us drag our bags across the carpeted corridors ...All I can say is it was 3 star service and quality at VERY high prices. The next morning we moved to an absolutely world class hotel which was ten times nicer and less expensive. Over-priced, outdated and obnoxious staff.

Stylish contemporary lobby, restaurants and rooms. Good location with old town area five minute walk through park and plazas- a dozen glorious churches, great French linen and fabric store L’Epingle a Linge here. Many chic clothing stores nearby- not just Gucci etc, but small, local with exciting window displays. Pretty parks and gardens nearby. Hotel rooms have very large decks with comfortable teak furniture and great views even from rooms on side. Pick up fabulous bread, sandwiches, pastries and desserts from Armand patisserie that is two blocks away for lunch on your deck. This is a good alternative to 20 Euro/person poor lunches in area. Almost all restaurants in the area are touristy so have poor food and are expensive, but there are half a dozen Michelin restaurants within a ten minute walk that are affordable unlike Paris at 200 Euros. (Peixes, Chez Davia, Le Canailes, Fine Gueule...) This is a busy hotel that many tour companies use so there were busses constantly unloading people for the four days we were there. The front desk staff are always busy checking in guests and at check in made no eye contact and just said ”passports”, passed a paper to us to sign then said the room number. When we asked for advice twice (should we take a taxi or bus to the train station and would Monaco or Cannes be better for a day trip) the staff were dismissive and not interested in providing advice. People we talked to sitting around the bar at the end of the day said they could not get recommendations for restaurants from front desk staff. On busy oceanfront promenade with many cars but rooms are soundproofed well.

We returned to the hotel after a long break due to covid. The hotel was excellent in changing our reservations due to the continued covid and travel restrictions. We paid a bit extra for a deluxe room with sea view and although the hotel is not cheap, it is right on the seafront and only a few minutes walk to the bars, restaurants, city centre etc. There is even a bus stop close to the hotel if you want to travel from the airport without getting a taxi. A warm welcome from the staff, a clean and modern room with a view of the sea. The breakfast buffet is very good. We did not take dinner but walked to a pedestrian area with lots of eateries. The hotel restaurant looks good and was usually busy, but we did not see much on the menu to attract us. Perhaps next time. Overall excellent but we do have a couple of tiny tiny comments. ASometinmes the tea/coffees were not topped up in the room. There are not enough hangers in the wardrobe and no hooks on the backs of any doors so you could hang coats, robes etc. None of these items spoit the holiday break and we will go again.

We spent two nights in this hotel in a junior suite with a sea view. Our room was spacious and had a balcony overlooking the Promenade des Anglais that was just big enough for a bistro table and two chairs. The hotel had an old world charm about it that was particularly enjoyable but the rooms, the amenities, etc. were all modern and comfortable. Everyone we met was helpful and friendly. The breakfasts we had were very good as was the dinner in Le Duc Restaurant that we had on our first evening. We were a bit jet lagged and hungry and ordered their three course meal. The caesar salads we had for the first course were huge (a meal in themselves!) and had nicely done chicken on top. But the desserts we had were totally fantastic: a strawberry charlotte and an amazing fresh pineapple and lemon sorbet. Each evening before dinner we enjoyed a cocktail and an appetizer in The W Bar's glassed in area outside. The Westminster's location is excellent -- just across the street from the Promenade des Anglais and a short walk to the old town and to Castle Hill. There's no question that if in Nice again we would very happily stay here.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel per 3notti, in coppia ad agosto 2022. La struttura è in una posizione strategica: a 100m da rue de medicine, la strada principale piena di negozi, che percorsa interamente (circa 700m) porta sul lungomare, alla promenade des angles. Abbiamo facilmente trovato parcheggio per strada nei dintorni: se durante il giorno si usa la macchina per visitare i dintorni, non è necessario mettere la macchina in un parcheggio privato in quanto dopo le 20 il parcheggio per strada è gratuito. L addetto alla reception del mattino è stato molto professionale e gentile, ci ha prestato l ombrello per 2giorni in quanto pioveva. La struttura è moderna e in stile minimal: la stanza è dotata di cassaforte, frigorifero (vuoto), le prese sono compatibili con quelle italiane. La nostra stanza al primo piano era luminosa e affacciava sul ristorante accanto all' albergo.Lo spazio davanti al letto era un po' stretto, ma tutto sommato la quadratura della camera è accettabile. Bagno moderno e bella doccia, tuttavia non ci sono state fornite cuffie per la doccia.

Stayed for 7 nights. Great hotel ,clean, nice room, good bed, lovely air conditioning on all the time to keep room cool. Dark skinned lady on reception was very helpful, friendly. Unfortunately I didn't get her name. A credit to the company. Good location just off Jean Medecin Avenue, close to Monoprix supermarket and train station. Tram stops. About a mile to beach, Place Massena. Didn't try breakfast. Hope to stay here again .Nice is lovely. Took the train to Antibes and Monaco, boat to St Tropez. Have been to Nice four times. GGuest UserNice hotel, rooms are small but adequate (recommend it for couples or solo), breakfast is basic but good enough. The old town, marina and promenade are all easily accessible (couple minutes of walk), and the area around the hotel is filled with restaurants, bars etc. This might be the only downside, it was very noisy in the party ‘rush hour’ but if you are looking for night life, this hotel is right by the center of it. Overall a very positive experience.

The staff (particularly Marion, who is charming and so helpful) are fantastic - always smiling and nothing is too much trouble. The location is excellent for public transport and there is a Monoprix opposite which is very useful. Our room on the 3rd floor was a good size and we loved the balcony for people watching below. We arrived to find macarons in our room and although it was a day late I had a lovely card and Prosecco on ice from the hotel for my birthday. Very much appreciated. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was nice. Breakfast was all you could need and the orange juice machine is superb. We would definitely return when in Nice. Thank you for a great stay!

GGuest UserWe stayed here for 5 nights as part of a birthday celebration. We've always wanted to visit Nice and it was important to us to chose the right hotel. This gem exceeded both of our expectations. The location was perfect with its beautiful garden, which seems very unique to any of the other hotels in Nice. What we loved was that it's situated on a quite street far enough away from the buzz of the more touristic areas and yet a close enough walk to everything you need and want to see. A 4 min walk to the tram stop, 10 mins to the train station, 5 mins to the sea front, 15 mins to the old town. The weather was thankfully very warm during our stay which meant we could enjoy our balcony terrace all the more. The complimentary treats on arrival were a lovely touch. The warm and friendly staff are what really makes the experience special so huge credit to the lovely general manager and his wonderful team for helping to make our stay so memorable. Our stylish room was really nice and clean with large comfortable bed and a shower that I didn't want to get out of. The water pressure was fantastic like a good shoulder massage. We stayed in the junior suite which meant we could relax after a long day on the sofa with a cup of tea and complimentary brownie available at reception. The downstairs reception areas were lovely spaces to sit and relax too. Breakfast was absolutely spot on and each morning, the choices plentiful and of high quality. We took full advantage of what was on offer and it kept is going for our daily excursions. It was also good to have the choice to eat outside in the garden at breakfast given the warm sunny weather. Again all the staff were so friendly, professional and helpful so thank you very much. We would happily return here and highly recommend this hotel.

GGuest UserA small, pleasant hotel a few meters from the sea promenade. There are restaurants in the vicinity and 2 supermarkets opposite the hotel. Distance from the railway station 15 minutes on foot, from the tram from the airport 8 minutes on foot.
The hotel rooms are smaller, which is standard in France. The staff at the reception and in the restaurant were very pleasant and helpful, on the last day we got breakfast at 6:00 a.m., despite the fact that it was officially only from 7:30 a.m. The hotel provides luggage storage for early arrival or late departure. We got a free upgrade to a superior room facing the courtyard. The room is new, clean, comfortable. The bathroom is also small but clean and well equipped. Cleaning and towel change was done every day and the cleaning was detailed. The breakfast was excellent (yogurts, cereals, ham, cheese, sausages, scrambled eggs, croissants, cakes, fruit, fruit puree, jams,...), the weak link was the coffee. The drip coffee in a thermos was weak, the coffee from the machine (cappuccino, latte, cocoa) was made of powder. At the bar, they have an espresso machine, with such a small number of guests, the bartender would surely manage to make everyone a normal high-quality espresso, and the guests would appreciate it.

Nice acknowledgment of platinum IHG status by getting upgraded to 7th floor executive room with what sounds like more space than a standard. Beautiful view of Nice’s architecture. Appreciated the bathrobes! Even an iron with ironing board. Windows opened for plenty of fresh air. Hotel seemed full but was never overly busy, especially elevators. Front desk staff very helpful. A big terrace at the front of the hotel has a good combo of shade/sun. Guests can have breakfast, lunch (i think) or drinks out there, tho dinner was not being served while we were visiting. Our only suggestion is to offer 2 standard levels of breakfast; the 20-euro buffet gets to be a bit much if staying for several days. We asked for a coffee and croissant option which the dining staff agreed to give us for 10 euros apiece. But it would be more comfortable to have a standard continental breakfast offered that didn’t need to be negotiated. We don’t need so many calories at breakfast!

GGuest UserThe hotel is located one block away from the beach and right in front of a Tramway station, which is very good, since you probably will have to take the tramway (or walk around 20-30 min) to get into the restaurants and the old town. This tramway line is the one that gets into the airport and on the turistical points.
Trip offered a category of room that, according to the hotel staff, does not exist on the hotel (triple bed). I was traveling with a friend and we didn't want to share the same bed.
First, staff didn't want to change our room saying they were complete. After insisting, they found another room with 2 beds, but the AC didn't work fine on this new room.
After the check-in, the staff member forgot to give my passport back. When I asked for it, he said that ”he wanted to keep seeing my picture because I was very pretty” 🙄. Unecessary, embarassing and not funny at all.
Rooms are comfortable enough and correct for a budget hotel.

GGuest UserI stayed in this hotel last week with my 81 year-old mother. I liked the location of the hotel and the initial impressions was quite favourable. Unfortunately, this is where it ends. Having booked a twin room, we ended up with a double bed. After enquiring wether this could be changed I was promised another room which I looked at but which also had a double bed. I then decided to stay in the original room because the receptionist did not know which rooms were made up as double or twin. She then promised to send someone the following day at a precise time to change the bed. The morning come and went. Nothing happened. I then contacted reception again, which did not know about anything. The day went by and finally in the late afternoon 2 grumpy women turned up, clearly causing them more work, and changed the bedding. The kitchen is modern and has a lot fo good features, but cheap and uncoordinated cutlery, no knives to cut anything decent. The 2 glasses were so small you could almost call it a shoot glass. Just a shame to have a fully functioning kitchen without much equipment to use. The bathroom is small and functional, but the main issue here is the height of the bath tub. How can anyone of a smaller statue even get in??? Not much room to put your toiletries either. Storage seems to be a general problem in the room as well since there is a wardrobe for hanging clothes but not really any storage space for folded clothes in easy reach. The carpet is dirty. There are no reading lights next to the bed and no lights close enough to the table. It was a very dim affair eating your dinner. There was a sign saying you cannot use the balcony for sitting outside or hanging things up. Why even have a balcony I wonder?? What makes me really negative is, that the hotel randomly charged my credit card which is just discovered today. Let´s see when I will get my refund. I am very disappointed with the lack of care and interest of the place.
