Kinugawa Onsen Hotel

A Japanese-style hot spring hotel, with Kinu River at the doorstep, it has paid private baths and free large public baths. The facilities are a bit old, but many Japanese go there. The accommodation fee includes buffet dinner and breakfast and is still very affordable.

The staff were very friendly and the facility was very clean with thorough cleaning throughout. The hot springs in particular had a wide variety of types and I wanted to soak in them again and again. The open-air bath was very picturesque, with the sound of the river flowing in the valley.

The hotel gets off at Kinugawa Onsen Station. There is no hotel car to pick up the station. There are shuttle buses for hot spring hotels. Get on the bus at bus stop No. 5 and tell the driver the name of the hotel. Don't walk there. It's inconvenient to push the luggage. It's also good to walk for 15 minutes without luggage. The appearance of the hotel is a bit old. Don't miss this hotel because of the appearance! The hotel has a sense of history and there is an introduction on the wall. Although it is very old, it is very clean. The room is quite large and clean. The room facing Kinugawa has a good view, but the sound of running water is very loud, which has no effect on our good sleep. The hotel hot spring is quite large. The men and women hot springs will change places in the morning, and you can experience different pools. The hot spring is clean and there are not many people. You can also scan the code to check whether the hot spring is crowded or not, and go when there are few people. The hotel has free afternoon tea at 3 pm. The snacks are delicious and the ice cream is also very good. The hotel's breakfast and dinner are particularly rich, and every kind of food is delicious. We stayed for three nights and had a great time every day! All the waiters in the hotel are very warm and friendly! The bus from the hotel to the station needs to be booked in advance!

The environment is nice, but there is nothing to visit nearby.

Although the hotel is a bit old, the service is still good

The service and courtesy at the hotel were great. This time I was traveling by myself. When I arrived at the hotel gate, a staff member showed me the parking direction. Then another staff member came up to me and asked me my name. After I unloaded my luggage, I parked my car. Give it to the first clerk. When checking in at the front desk, the explanation is very clear. Please note that it is always a suburban hot spring hotel and the staff has limited English. After checking in, there is a welcome drink + snack in the lobby. Unexpectedly, there is also ice cream. After that, you can enjoy the hot spring bath. After the bath, you have dinner just in time. This is a buffet style. It may be the crab season. Crab tempura, crab ax pot rice, and crab sushi rice are very fresh and sweet. After dinner, there will be a show at the hotel. I’m not sure if it will be on Sunday first. The breakfast buffet is relatively ordinary, just normal.
