This is my second stay at this hotel.
- Location : Prime location , close to major shopping and dining
- Transport access : Though it’s right on yaohang st., but car does not reach the hotel. You need to drop on the main road or in front of Westing and Walk to the hotel.
- Breakfast : A wide selection of local and international food options.
- Rooms : Very spacious and comfortable rooms .
- Amenities : All standard amenities are provided.
- Extra perks : Best in town - They offer you wash and iron of your laundry at zero cost.
The hotel also offers some bean soup desert in the evening and goody bags with water bottle , tissues and wet wipes .
The staffs goes extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction which offsets the few short Cummings. . I will certainly come back .

A+++! It was a wonderful stay at this hotel we were only in Ningbo for two nights but its location made it easier for us to get around quickly without wasting too much time. What really stood out with the service. The staff was always very helpful to answer question and assist us when we needed. We had issues understanding our taxi driver and they immediately stepped in to talk with the taxi driver on our behalf. Will surely stay here again.

Everything's very good! The room is clean and spacious. Breakfast is very delicious and you can get free ice cream, popcorn, and tea whenever you want. The staffs are so kind and welcoming, although our Chinese is not that good, they tried hard to communicate with us.

Recently refurbish but the door doesn't close well and need some adjustment. Mould on sink could be easily remove with right chemical.

I recently stayed at Nanyuan Hotel during my visit to Ningbo, and I must say, I was impressed. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, with a lovely bathtub to relax in after a long day of sightseeing. I was also pleasantly surprised to receive a complementary bowl of fruits on arrival, which was a nice touch. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating, even offering complementary yogurt during my stay.
The breakfast spread was good, although I would have preferred more western food options. Unfortunately, when I visited, they had run out of fried bacon. However, this did not detract from the overall experience. I also appreciated the option of a late check-out, which allowed me to leave after 1 PM.
Overall, I would recommend Nanyuan Hotel to anyone visiting Ningbo. The staff were friendly, the room was comfortable, and the complementary extras were a nice touch. I would definitely consider staying here again, provided the price is right.

I recently stayed at a hotel in Ningbo, China, which had a super location close to Ningbo Railway Station. The hotel's proximity to the station made it convenient for transportation. However, there were a few aspects of my stay that could have been better.
The location of the hotel was indeed excellent, with easy access to the railway station. This made it convenient for exploring the city and accessing transportation options . The hotel's proximity to shopping streets and attractions added to its appeal.
Regarding the food, I would described as ”okay” . It seems that there were various dining options available, but the experience may have varied depending on the specific choices made.
One aspect that could be improved is the English proficiency of the reception staff. According to the search results, the staff's ability to communicate in basic English was limited . This could pose a challenge for non-Chinese guests who require assistance or have specific inquiries.
During my two-night stay, I also noticed a strong smell of cigarettes in the room. This could be a concern for those who are sensitive to smoke or prefer smoke-free environments.
Overall, the hotel's super location near Ningbo Railway Station was a major advantage. However, it is important to note the potential language barrier with the reception staff and the presence of a cigarette smell. These factors may be worth considering when choosing accommodations in Ningbo

The hotel team is very corporate and takes care of all details and , rooms will have equipment and big space and very nicely designed specially the bathroom. My family likes this hotel and plan to stay again.

NNgaire323Our family, including our two little boys aged 1 and 2, had a lovely break from Ningbo in the mountains at this hotels. The surrounding scenery is peaceful and beautiful and the outdoor pool is fantastic - very large, clean and good for kids. Our room was spacious (though it probably needed a deep clean a little more often - under the bed was a bit dusty!) Overall the hotel is a great place for a short break with young kids. Some areas could do with a facelift (i.e. the shop by reception is empty and has boxes sacked in it) but kids don’t mind this and what they do love is at the hotel - a pool, balance bike riding area, soft play center and an evening petting farm (which was very well done!)

GGuest UserOn the day of our check-in, the hotel called in advance to confirm the approximate arrival time. They turned on the air conditioner in the room in advance, put out welcome fruits and welcome meals. The service attitude was very good, and there were desserts in the evening.
I booked a twin-bed sea view room with a balcony. The view from the balcony is very good. The room is relatively quiet and the equipment is very complete! We can see the sea view, but it's a pity that it's a bit cloudy. We will stay here next time we come!

The scenery of the hotel is very good, but the sound of cars is relatively noisy in the good places, but the places behind are much quieter. The location of the hotel is very advantageous, and there is a parking lot. There is a Japanese restaurant upstairs. The ingredients used are very fresh. Go to the Old Bund at night, and there is also the Catholic church. It is really beautiful. The breakfast of the hotel is considered to be better for this price. There is also a better fully automatic coffee machine. But I don’t know why, your beans are really hard to drink. It feels too bitter. I hope the hotel can improve this. Otherwise, it is not worthy of this machine. The service of the lady at the front desk is very good. She answers all questions. I hope this price can be maintained continuously. The mattress is very soft. The support is also good. The shower in the toilet has a top spray. It is much more comfortable than the top spray of Hanting Youjia.

IIanzjhThe 16-year-old hotel is a little older than the Sheraton, but it is still well maintained. I came here for its beautiful sea view and service, and it lived up to my expectations. It is worthy of being selected as one of the Top 100 Hotels with Beautiful Views in Asia. The weather was not very good, with sporadic drizzles, but the sea breeze was very comfortable, blowing the sea breeze and throwing away all my worries😀The service is even better. Thanks to Wendy Zhang for her butler service. She called me one day in advance, prepared children's supplies, made an appointment for travel photography (although I didn't take any photos), and helped me book a hotel dinner. The single-a-la-carte price of the hotel's Chinese restaurant is a little expensive, but the set meal is more cost-effective, and the key is that the taste is very good. What I am most grateful for is that my child is 130cm tall, and the butler also sent breakfast thoughtfully, which must be praised👍The price of staying on holidays is a little expensive, but the service is completely up to par. It will be much more cost-effective to stay on non-holidays in the future, and it is worth coming again👪

The lake facing room had the best view I've ever had from a hotel. A shuttle service to take us to the spa village. The spa treatments were in a cute massage house with excellent service.
Dinner was at the fish restaurant which had a variety of reccomended dishes as well as meat or veg options. This allowed for a nice walk back in the evening going around the grounds.
Good facilities with a lovely indoor pool and a games room.
Breakfast had a huge amount of choice that was constantly being refilled. One downside was children running around with whistles blaring but that is down to poor parenting not the hotel. Nice again to walk around the grounds after breakfast.
The room had a comfy bed and huge windows to show the view. A very nice bath too but it would've been improved by including some bath salts or bath lotion.
Downsides - the air conditioning in the room wouldn't drop below 24°, fapiaos were a little complicated and not exactly how we wanted it, the shuttle buggys could be slow to arrive and the drivers could dissappear and you would wait for 10 minutes with no driver. The 'Red bar' was also closed so no where to go for a quiet drink.
Overall I would give and 4 3/4 stars out of 5

MMattia MianiSure, it is a stunning resort and overall we enjoyed the experience. However it is far from perfect. A few issues to consider:
1) I booked a deluxe room and relying on the picture I was expecting a sofa bed on the balcony. There was no sofa bed! Bummer.
2) The bathtub is quite small, mostly for one person.
3) The guest rooms feel/are quite distant from the lake. The view is so so.
4) The resort is not really on the lake, there is a road separating it from the lake. so no rooms or villa really on the lake.
5) They mention a shuttle bus to nearby Hanling old street, but it was only running every 2 hours and needed booking... a bit complicated for a 4 minute ride.
6) The main building with the lobby has very limited facilities. Just a small deck for outdoor dining.
Overall ok, recommend to book on a weekday when the price is cheaper. I give 5 for service because it was a busy weekend and personnel was all very professional and efficient, but I did not experience anything exceptional. I tried the high end Chinese restaurant that was good and also the breakfast in line with a 5 star hotel.

JJamieI booked the Seclusive Life resort for a 2 night weekend getaway while I am working in Zhejiang. It was a beautiful, relaxing experience. The mountains were so lush and green. The best part of the resort was the staff. Everyone was so helpful. I do not speak Chinese but we were able to communicate via WeChat very easily. The staff really went above and beyond to make my experience comfortable. The food in the restaurant was very good. I ordered my meals a day in advance and the staff sent me a message when my food was prepared. I enjoyed the pool that is filled with cold mountain water. I did some hiking starting at the resort and really enjoyed the mountain scenery. Unfortunately the tub did not work in my room and there was a lot of mold in the shower but I think that is unavoidable in this humid climate. At the end of my stay the staff was about to help me arrange a driver to Xeudou Temple and Zhongcun Scenic area. I highly recommend this place for a relaxed, stress free getaway. One note, there are a lot of stairs (193 to my room) to get to the cabins so anyone with mobility issues will need to be sure to reserve a room they can reach. Again, ***** for the staff. Super.

EErnst NZThis is an interesting place as it’s old, contemporary style of an area past, dim lights everywhere, traditional wooden panels alongside huge heigh ceilings. It brings back a time of glamour, reminded me of the Titanic in its former glory. Yet the rooms are crammed, I hit my foot twice on the floor bed corner. The staff are friendly and helpful, english is spoken at reception. Would i stay here again? Probably not, as the darkness of the room, ( windows do open slightly) felt depressing. However great location, cross the river and you are in the mids of the city. Ernst , New Zealand
