The place is super comfortable, staying with family during New Year's Eve is celebrated lively with a stage and fireworks.
The rooms are also clean, tidy and comfortable.
The breakfast is also delicious and varied.

There was a mini zoo that was not open, and the staff there ignored me when I asked! The attitude at the front desk is not very good either. All the people here are Indonesians. The restaurant is expensive and the hot soup and hot noodles ordered are still lukewarm.

Not so good, because the booking on Ctrip said it had a sea view, and there was a language barrier. It took us a long time to communicate before they were willing to give us an older room type, so we could see the sea! He also said that Ctrip does not have such a definition of a sea view superior room! Not a very happy stay

When i got the room at first the smell of smoke very strong despite i request for non smoking room, and when we on the tap a yellowish water come out and the room has no heater ,i am disappointed
So the hotel management has to change a different room

Batam View Beach Resort is ideal for those seeking a peaceful retreat away from the city. It’s a great spot for a weekend getaway and golfing, with the added convenience of a ferry jetty just 10 minutes away. However, it’s a 45-minute trip to get into the city, and there aren’t many activities in the immediate area. The beach is average, and while the hotel shows signs of age, all facilities are functional. Breakfast was not great—quite basic and could use more variety. Overall, a decent choice for a quiet escape!
