This is an excellent option if you're looking for a comfortable, stylish, and reasonably priced place to stay in the Charleston area. While I did not check out the lounge, it was karaoke night (Friday night for my stay), which sounded like fun. Some patrons were a bit noisy leaving the lounge, so if you're traveling with children, you may want to request a room farther away.

Rooms are updated & modern. Exterior is a throwback to the 60’s.
Surrounding area does not appear to be walk friendly.

This is a nice property that the owners have really tried to refurbish and make cool. It was pretty much like just checking into an Airbnb except there was a bar attached. I have to say the bed was one of the best I’ve ever slept on it’s in a janky neighborhood but it’s only 20 minutes from downtown Charleston so the 200. On hotels can be spent doing other things. All in all it was a very positive experience. In five years, it will be in the heart of a re-gentrified area and the rooms to be 100 bucks more a night. Get it while you can

Loved the new freshness and Deco styling. Nice modern electrical and plumbing. Not much in the way of dining close by. Otherwise very pleased.
