Pros: This trip was spur of the moment for a comedy show, so I didn’t check to see what was nearby before booking like I always do. I couldn’t believe my luck! The mall is in walking distance, plus there are numerous restaurants in the immediate area! So is a liquor store. An inside/outside flea market is about 12 minutes away. Isle of palm beach was about 40 minutes away and it was definitely a nice area. The bed was comfortable and everything in my room works. I was in room 213 accessibility but I don’t have a physical disability. And oh, and breakfast was hot and fresh biscuits, country gravy, turkey, sausage, scrambled eggs, fruit, cereal, dessert, and typical beverages. I had two plates!
Cons: minimal parking in the front of hotel.

It was more than Id hoped for. A beautiful, clean, comfortable room. Great service at checkin and checkout. Location could not have been better! Food and shopping within walking distance. My next trip to Charleston SC I will book this hotel.

It's a nice place. The $200 hold that they put on my card is unacceptable and ridiculous. I will go somewhere else next time.

We booked this hotel last minute after an unpleasant experience elsewhere. Arriving here, the bar was low but Holiday Inn went above and beyond and exceeded our expectations. Hotel staff was very friendly and provided us complimentary water bottles upon arrival. Hotel felt secure as guests had to use their key card to get into the lobby after hours. Rooms were excellently cleaned each day with new towels provided as well. Rooms were well stocked with hand soap, body lotion, shampoo, and conditioner as well as K-cups to use in the coffee maker. Breakfast each morning was wonderful - quality food with many options. Holiday Inn doesn't disappoint - I would definitely stay at this location again!
