Pros: The location on the beach is great Beautiful views Pool was decent Mattress was comfy Cons: It’s a cheap hotel, and that’s what you get It’s old and really run down Surface level it was clean, but pretty old, gross, and broken as you look around Staff was virtually non-existent, so you better be self sufficient Overall, we stayed busy and out of the room. It was “fine” for a place to sleep and quickly leave. Would we stay here again? Never. I didn’t take photos of all the gross stuff bc they are already on here, but did take a few of the beautiful outside space.

Very disappointed!! Stayed on the 3rd floor and had cockroaches running around the unit coming in and out under the moldings of the living room wall. Office staff had zero reaction. Changed rooms and that unit had dead cockroaches in the lighting fixture. To say we will never return in an understatement. There are many other places to stay in Myrtle Beach and I will never return here.

This place was very disappointing ! Very dirty and out dated ! Smelled old and Smokey . Will never stay here again !! If we could have gotten a room anywhere else we would have left. We paid over a thousand dollars for 3 nights which is crazy for this dump. I will continue to give bad reviews to let people known so they won’t be taken like we were.

We love this place; that's why we come back. It doesn't have the amenities or "fanciness" of the big hotel/resort places. It allows us to have a simple, relaxing vacation right at the beach without the chaos I see at other "resorts." Thank you, Peppertree By The Sea!!

Unfortunately, I cannot give this place a zero rating. Where to start...the elevators are dirty and paint has chipped away and made the area look ghetto. Inside the room you will find horrible workmanship as far as repairs go. The toe kick under the sink in the kitchenette is missing. The floor boards are have a good layer of dust on them. There is a light switch and two outlets on the wall above the sink. I don't know if it's live, but it shouldn't be there if it is. It screams "code violation". This unit sleeps four, but there are only two bowls, two plates, etc. The furniture, whether draws or doors, do not shut. Our first night we attempted to put clothing in the chest of drawers, and one of the pulls wasn't attached and fell off. There are uñcapped wires coming out of the AC unit. Another code violation? Be sure you're current with your tetanus vaccination. The lamps are corroded. The tub is two-toned, a beige and a stained bottom. Wear your shower shoes! Also, there's that takes you by surprise no stopper for the tub. And, there is a large lump in the middle of the tub that takes you by surprise and knocks you off balance each time you step into it. Then there's the general grime and unclean areas. I had to wash the surface of everything in the unit. The dirt and grime that came off was absolutely disgusting. Avoid this place. Don't waste your money or time. We drove from afar and couldn't find another vacancy, so we were stuck here. Nover again will I stay here

The place is a dump. Bedroom is very small and smells like a molded basement. They offer NO housekeeping, you have to take towels to them on Tues. or Thursday. No shampoo without asking, small bars of soap. Exposed electrical under the heat pump that's a safety hazzard. This is a rundown hotel they call a resort.

nice location, very dated as timeshares go. There obsession about parking is insane. P-Lot across street had plenty of room, would have bought in - 2 weeks for our trip up n down the coast every year but ohhh no can't park in these two lots ...your a guest of an owner....go to the unsecured dirt lot on the iffy back street a block away. Very NOISEY when folks move furniture or leave the apartments-slamming type doors. Positive; maintenance is awesome if you have an issue , location is premo for the retired.

A little dated but clean. Great location and great access to the beach. the pool looked very clean and maintained, but to cold to get in this time of year. the staff were very helpful and polite. checked out and left an appliance, but staff called and hooked us up to have it shipped home.

Where should I start. It's old and dated. The furniture is pretty bad. It was clean though, as clean as it could get. I don't like outside corridors but luckily I was with my husband and my 20 yr old son. The tub/shower combo was hideous. Looks like they tried to paint over the flaws with white paint. The hot water trickled out of tub faucet and would not come out of the showerhead. The cold water came out with no problems. I reported this to management but they didn't do anything about it even though they said they would. The shower was either scalding hot or ice cold. I finally learned the algorithm to making a shower happen with water of the appropriate temp. The wifi information in the room binder was incorrect. The only positives were the amazing oceanfront view and the easy beach access. It's not some place I would ever choose to stay again.
