Oros Hotel and Apartments

Thank you to the Oros Hotel Team. My stay was great. A beautiful hotel with great staff and amenities.

Well located, staff were good, but the condition of the rooms and facilities were very poor, showers looked as if hadnt been cleaned properly the whole place needs to be repainted, very dark lighting throughout, TV remote was just working asked for 2 seperate beds and all that was done was the king bed was split into two and made into two singles beds jammed right next to each other.

Excellent value, accommodating staff and lovely apartments. I loved the cooking facilities and utensils the washing machine and everything that was available. The staff were very helpful and considering the location it was very quiet.

Very clean and tidy room. No noise. Great bathroom. Friendly staff. No Ross noise or noise from other rooms. Great atmosphere as well. Great parking even though it’s a $10 fee per day. I don’t like that but live with it as it’s off street parking. Safe in the motel as well as you need your keys to access lifts etc. we have stayed multiple times now and will be back

We booked an accessible studio for two nights and were allocated a room on the first floor. The room was more spacious than expected, with a small kitchen including a microwave, was easy to move around in a manual wheelchair and the bathroom contained a shower seat and grab rails. The king size bed was firm but comfortable. The room had no view as it overlooked the plant/machinery area (which could be heard if you left the sliding door open), there was plenty of parking but a bit of a walk to the apartment lifts. Overall a comfortable stay.

My team had a terrible experience at the Oros in Oakleigh during their three nights. Rooms were uncomfortable, appliances did not work correctly and the customer service was non-existent. When the negative experience was brought up with management, the manager was aggressive, rude and did not provide any suitable resolution except for a $10 parking voucher. A sincere apology would have been fine. My company has regular business in Oakleigh, but we will never be using Oros Hotel and Apartments again.

This place is the filthiest hotel I have ever seen in my life. I walked into the room with my 6 year old there were white stains all over couch and cushions, the kitchen counter top was Covered in food residue so I open the cupboard under the sink to clean it the sponge was used the chux wipe was used the tea towel was also used and still wet. I walked into the bathroom there was a quarter of a toilet roll and the ised box of tissues with black stains on it .I called reception the guy was calling the manager 30 min later still no call back it was 9.30 pm by then I packed up went down to reception I spoke to the guy on duty he said he had alot of complaints about housekeeping tonight i said what housekeeping there was none at the end of the day you can blame housekeeping but if there not doing the job why are you still using them. I got my deposit and got the hell out of this place before me and my child caught something. I have contacted the Accc and the health department this place should be closed down and not allowed to rent rooms the photos are snap shots from a video i made for the health department do yourself and your family a favour stay the hell away from this place .

Out on the balcony all you can smell is KFC. Yuk!
