Ocean 7

I had stayed at Ocean 7 several times before this trip. I was disappointed this time. We arrived around 11:30 and checked in with the front desk. Our room wasn’t ready until after 3:00. I saw the work sheet and our room was done last and was the only one with a phone number next to it. Good customer service would have been to clean our room first since we were there. The safe in the room was broken and we were told it couldn’t be fixed. That meant I had to carry all my valuables with me. Even to the beach! That was unacceptable. The kitchen was poorly supplied. There were only 2 glasses. There was no container in which to microwave other than a small bowl. I’m glad I brought a microwaveable container with me. There were 4 poor quality forks. We made due with what was there but it was not good. People were swimming in the pool wearing sneakers and street clothes. That is disgustingly! We didn’t swim in the pool because of that and we paid to have a pool. It was nasty. The view from the balcony was nice. The location of the hotel is good. I’m not sure I’ll stay there again due to these concerns. There are many other options for lodging.

Front desk so helpful in juggling reservations. Great room, a suite. Excellent location.Great to have access to saved parking space. Nice to have kitchenette with refrigerator and microwave. Nice TV. Elevator convenient and was working.

The staff were friendly, and check in and check out were very easy. The room appeared clean. Some of the furniture look like it could use updated. This year the pool was very busy when we wanted to use it. Lots of noisy kids piled in it. In the past the pool was a nice place to end your day before going to the boardwalk. It is so conveniently located by the boardwalk. That is one of the drawing factors of this Motel.

Motel was very convenient to ocean pier concert hall . Not a direct ocean view from room due to other buildings blocking. I paid extra for that. We were on 3rd floor. Maybe try 4th. We were near pool steps. Avoid this area. Place was decent. Memory foam bed comfy but air cond blew right on me. Hard to regulate it comfortably. May or may not rebook for future stays. Depends upon rate at the time. Pricey on season. Desk people very nice.

The hotel was nice and convenient located right off the boardwalk. Bathroom was very small, this was ok for us but if you were a larger person this could be an issue. The freezer should have been defrosted with the build up of ice but this did not affect our stay. Also, one of the sinks had water dripped under the cabinet but this did not affect our stay. I put a trash can under the cabinet to collect the water and reported those issues to the desk. Very nice staff and personal.

Had a great time. Half a block off the Boardwalk. Beach Tags were included. Reservation was easy to make. Front Desk Personnel were very pleasant. Rooms were clean and Service Personnel were very accommodating. Pool area was clean. and always coffee and water in the lobby. Loved it.

Great place everyone was very kind there! It is clean and safe and quiet I would recommend anyone to stay there! I will go there next year for sure! Actually wish I could have stayed longer! They were very attentive to your needs and also the pool area was great!

The staff was exceptionally courteous, especially Anthony who went out of his way to assist us with bringing our bags up to our room since the elevator was out of service. The room was bright and sunny, beds comfortable and lots of modern conveniences. Definitely recommend this motel due to its convenient distance to all boardwalk attractions.
