Odessa Marriott Hotel & Conference Center

This hotel will screw up your reservation, overcharge you, and then refuse to communicate with you to resolve this issue. I stayed here for two nights on business travel that was booked through my company. When I checked out I was told that I was only booked for one night and they had extended my stay per my request. Which never happened. They charged my 520 dollars for one nights stay!! The accounting department is refusing to return my calls to get this matter settled. I am working with our travel department to get them removed from our list of hotels my company will use. Worst service I have ever received at a Marriott property.

The hotel was immaculate inside and out. It actually stuck out like a store thumb in a town that didn't have much to offer at all. I do wish the M Club had better amenities though. It was interesting that the one room that had a beautiful balcony area was not even available to guests

Reception Desk is the Face and Welcome Center of any location. Ms. Lacy was extremely Cold Faced and non receptive to the conversation. Simply a one way short and rude welcome. “A TRUE SOUR GRAPE FOR THE REST OF THE STAY.” Beware at Bar ! Do not give your Room Number when paying at bar. Yes! DOUBLED CHARGED by Archie. Two drinks $60.00. Charged on Credit Card at bar and charged to Room. Called Accounting- two weeks later no resolution. Even with EVIDENCE.

We stayed at the Odessa Marriott Hotel and Conference Center for two nights on our quick tour of just a small portion of Texas. The modern facility is strikingly beautiful. Parking is free and convenient. Check-in was smooth. The room was spacious and comfortable. The pool looked welcoming, but we never had an opportunity to use it. The bartenders serve up some mighty fine drinks. We enjoyed delicious dinners in the hotel restaurant both evenings of our stay. Had a simple breakfast in the M Club. Sorry that the omelette station, which I have recently read about, was not yet up and running. Staff throughout the hotel were professional and delightful. I don’t expect that we will be back in the area again, but I would certainly recommend this hotel to others visiting the area for work or pleasure.

I visit this Marriott when I come out to Midland for work and the service is impeccable. The rooms are modern and amazing bar scene and super vibrant. For the first time I they have a omelette station in the M Club which is a nice touch from normal breakfast. I hope they keep it and I appreciate Chef Tony with the amazing service.

Fantastic M club with chef tony on the omelette bar and the food is always delicious. The hotel Restaurant is amazing. This is the best place to stay in the Odessa/midland area. I travel out here every week and I enjoy my stay every time. I have never had a bad experience at this hotel.

We cannot say enough about the fantastic hospitality at the Marriott in Odessa. We had the pleasure of using the M Club lounge, where Ashley’s warm presence made it feel like home. Chef Tony was the treat of the morning, preparing a delicious breakfast including fresh omelettes from the omlette station! The M Club has been a great way to start and end our days during our stay here. This is hospitality at its finest!

I haven’t stayed in a full-service Marriott for many years so I have to say that this is a very nice property. However I give this review 4 stars because of the $300 per night price tag. I got a room with a view of the roof top a/c with noice from the motors and road We came here only because of the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band concert (one of my all-time favorite bands to see since the late sixties/early seventies-I am 71 yo) and we traveled 5-6 hours to see them. They were playing at the Ector theater and I saw that there was direct access to the venue from this hotel so we could just park and not have to drive later at night. Lobby/pool areas are very nice (great hanging out with a beer and watching sports) and the restaurant is excellent. Starbucks is next store if you want simple breakfast options. Also Torchy’s is across the street for cheaper TexMex food options. The room is a standard hotel room with tv/coffee/desk/refrigerator/closet/safe accommodations The room had two chairs with a table which was nice. Unless there was another concert that would I want to attend or a conference (that was prepaid) I would not return.
